Reviews
Had a couple slices. Their pizza is thin crust, fairly crisp cook. They have a decent variety of slices to choose from. Their larger specialty pies are also excellent, whether it’s red or white pizza it’s very tasty. Really like their Buffalo Chicken, Barbecue Chicken, and their Brie Apple and Mediterranean Pies.
Their pasta are also really good, house made sauces. The Alfredo is nice and creamy, the fettuccine is well cooked.
Their wings are decent size, their garlic parmesan is a dry rub, their sweet and spicy one seems to be a mix of hot sauce and honey, sort of baked on.
Overall great food and service. Good spot in the area.
The staff is super friendly and super competent and generous, in an age where restaurants can have sketchy staffing.
Pizza is always perfect. Chicken fingers are (amazingly) made in-house, and a great deal. Wings also great. My kids often get the Alfredo.
The Cheesesteak pizza is out of this world! I have never had a pizza this amazing! It is Gordon Ramsey style pizza! Never had a pizza this delicious. The works pizza is amazing as well. The toppings were very fresh and crisp, the crust is on the thinner side and has a bit of a crisp to it, which makes this the perfect pizza.
I have had my share of pizzas, and this pizza is at such a high standard, it is far above the competition!
Bonus:: staff was very clear with explaining this and quickly made up my order in a reasonable amount of time.
Good on them for recovering from this IT issue and keeping me as a customer in the future.
Despite not indicating their limitations on the website (which really would be an easy thing to do), I’m updating my review based on the food I had there.
To begin with, this pizza looked good (see photo), and smelled good. A quick inspection, however, revealed it was made on a wire tray, not the stone oven (look for those little diamond shapes on the bottom), which robbed the bottom crust of texture. The outer crust was very good–tasty and with a good texture, just like a New York style pie.
But the pizza itself was very salty. So much so that my kids, not really known for delicate palates–commented that it was too salty. I agreed. The cheese was excellent, a good amount and of high quality. The pepperoni was large and tasty. The broccoli, however, was not cooked in any way. It was charred on the top, but raw the rest of the way through.
The chicken fingers were incredibly salty, we couldn’t finish them. The fries were soggy and also over-salted. Overall this pizza has potential, but it was killed by texture, raw vegetables, and generally being a salt bomb.
The service was friendly, and prompt–well done on that front. My kids are getting older now, but still, it was a fairly kid-friendly place: booths mostly, with the kind of laminate that makes spilling things not a big deal. Amazingly, we did not spill anything this time, but they also gave me lids for the kids drinks when I asked.
I also timed the trip from my driveway to their front door–exactly 10 minutes.
Previous review:
They say they deliver–but despite living is Essex, they won’t deliver to my house, because it’s too far? According to google maps, it’s 3.8 miles, or 10 minutes. This kind of thing irritates me–they could at least clearly state on their website that they only deliver in a 3 mile radius, if that’s what their plan is. Instead you have to call, give them your info, put the order in, and then find out after that they won’t bring it to you.
Response to owner:
Thank you for sharing your feedback to my feedback. I’m not actually upset about any limitations anyone puts on anything they do for their business. What irritates me is that, as a potential customer, I don’t know what those limitations are. I’m in a ten minute radius, again according to google maps, but if you want it to be a 9 minute radius, by all means do so. Just please say so somewhere, save us both the trouble. Happy to remove negative review if I see the change made.
