Visited Very Good Bigoleria Gnoccheria Pizzeria today and had a really lovely experience.
The food was delicious and what stood out most was how happily they customised dishes exactly as requested — something that makes a big difference when you have preferences. Everything tasted fresh, balanced and comforting.
The ambience is calm and peaceful, perfect for a relaxed meal. Sitting there watching the boats pass by made the whole experience feel very Italian and memorable rather than just another restaurant visit.
Hospitality was excellent — warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming without being overwhelming.
Overall: great food + accommodating service + beautiful setting. Definitely recommend if you want a slow, enjoyable meal by the water.

We stumbled upon this restaurant after finding it on Google, and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. From the moment we arrived, the owner greeted us warmly and made us feel genuinely welcome. We ordered a pizza and the baked sea bass with potatoes, and both dishes were outstanding—honestly some of the best meals we had in Venice. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was friendly and inviting. We would definitely recommend this place to friends and would happily return ourselves.

Really fantastic food and service on a nice quiet canal. The waitress was incredibly kind and attentive. Our spritzes were perfect. I had the carbonara and my husband had a pizza. Both were delicious. I would skip the bruschetta and get another starter as we weren’t overly impressed. Not taking off any stars as it was still good, we’ve just had better in Venice, so skip it and get something else instead!

This place is amazing! Location, people, atmosphere, nothing was bad.
We went for a birthday meal and mentioned it was a birthday, the lady came out with a tiramisu and candle. They even sung and the whole outside sung too. Magical.
The food was VERY GOOD
The wine was fantastic! The lady who served us had great knowledge of red wine and which one was good to pair with the dish I was having, nice.
The ravioli was cooked to perfection.
The price was very reasonable.
This is a must visit when in Venice.

Just like its name, this place wasn’t just good — it was our favourite restaurant in Venice. From the moment we arrived, the experience was incredible. They gave us a beautiful seat outside, right on the water, which made everything feel even more special. The food and service were unforgettable, a true highlight of our trip.
I still can’t get over how good the spaghetti Bolognese was, I’ve been thinking about it ever since! The fish was unbelievably fresh (they even deboned it for us), and the pizza was absolutely delicious. If there’s one place I’d come back to Venice for, it’s this restaurant. The staff were attentive, warm, and made us feel completely at home. I genuinely can’t recommend it enough.

Hey vacationers, I’m sharing my experience at Very Good: a real tourist trap. Nothing special for an exorbitant price. I admit I was surprised to find fresh sliced tomatoes on my pizza! Honestly, think twice before going; the city has tons of restaurants (day and night). The staff are friendly and cute, yes… but I won’t be going back. Enjoy your meal.

We had and amazing mixed seafood appetizer, pasta in squid ink, and a lasagna that was so flavorful and tender! They make all their pasta in house and Also have amazing looking pizzas! This family run business is a must try!
