This is definitely an upscale restaurant dressed as a causal hotel bar

The ambience was unique and the glass ceiling and open air concept made me feel like I was eating a fancy meal in the middle of the day like Downton Abbey.

The food was great! Bread was so soft and warm and buttery. Salad was fresh and well dresssed. We had the Lamb Shank that was so well braised and tender I honestly didn’t need a knife. My wife had the Filet Mignon and it was had the perfect sear and tenderness that you expect from a place like this.

Dessert was meh, it was complimentary so I’m not judging it too closely since it’s not stuff we would have ordered

This was absolutely the BEST lamb I’ve ever tasted. It was amazingly tender, and the overall food and service were great quality. We arrived a little late in the evening, but had no problem securing a table and we didn’t feel rushed.

Pretty decent restaurant located at Chateau Elan Winery & Resort! It was quiet but the server and service was great and attentive.

I think everyone enjoyed the meals – we ordered the calamari and deviled eggs (not pictured) as an appetizer and they both were delicious!

“I visited Versailles for the first time on my birthday today for my birthday and was thoroughly disappointed. I ordered the pan-seared shrimp over pasta, but didn’t enjoy the dish at all. It arrived warm, not hot, and lacked seasoning. Halfway through, I stopped eating because it almost made me nauseous. The table bread was just plain sliced bread from a store-bought bag. The calamari was cold and too crunchy!!! My husband ordered the beef ribeye, broccolini and mashed potatoes. The steak was tough and very chewy!!! It had the charbroiled flavor and that’s it. It too arrived lukewarm.The food, service, and ambiance didn’t match the prices.”

The food was delicious. We were there to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. We got the clams and mussels for an app, shared a Caesar salad, and both got the sea bass which was phenomenal. Hubby had a Pinot Grigio and I had an espresso martini. Both were excellent. The manager, Cam, was wonderful and attentive, and our server, Maria was perfect – checked on us just the right amount! It was our first time but we’ll definitely be back

Booked the Santa Christmas Breakfast experience. There was no tree or decor, no holiday ambiance, no one knew what time Santa would be coming. The tree and gingerbread house were to be set up the following weekend. Why advertise breakfast and allow bookings if not ready?? Not the magical experience our family was anticipating. We even stayed the night prior to make it a fun staycation. We’ve always enjoyed Chateau but this was a huge miss. Other families were also incredibly disappointed.

Our serve Bobbie Jo was amazing though, only reason why I’m giving 5 stars for service- she’s the one who ensures Santa would come.

Avoid this restaurant at all costs. Do your research. Read the reviews.

My wife and I recently had a 7 p.m. dinner reservation at Versailles. We were looking forward to trying something new, as we typically dine at Marc. While our waitress was genuinely kind and apologetic throughout, the experience was unacceptable:
– By 8:30 p.m., we still had not received our meals
– We overheard staff telling other tables the kitchen was understaffed
– Our waitress repeatedly apologized and assured us food was coming soon
– At 9 p.m. (two full hours after being seated), we still did not have our meals
– When our meals finally arrived at 9:25 PM, both orders were completely wrong (not only were they wrong, but they looked inedible

Waiting nearly 2.5 hours for our meals is simply inexcusable at any restaurant, let alone one at a luxury resort. Safe yourself the headache and frustration, don’t go here.

Outstanding experience! Chef King personally visited our table to ensure our meal was perfectly cooked. The waitress was exceptionally attentive, frequently checking in to see if everything met our needs. Both the food and drinks were delicious and flavorful

went to have a nice dinner with my mom and friend ( which all of us used to work there) . got there hostess super nice. Sat down waited 25 minutes and never got greeted by server. went to tell hostess and she went and told manger I guess. he came out said sorry and offered appetizer which was nice. 10 minutes later a server came and asked for our drink. waited 10 mins another server came and asked for our drinks. ordered again another 10 -15 went by had to tell server we are still waiting on our drink finally got our drinks. tried to order food from the first server. 45 mins later finally got our food after the restaurant was offically closed. mind you we got there around 8:45 and they close at 10. my plate was cold but i just eat it cause i was ready to leave.waited another 20 – 25 mins for an server to come to our table to ask for the check. we had more then one server walk passed us and not even looked our way including the 2 servers who had came by before. finally the second server came and told us it was final call for the bar if we wanted anything else. we just asked for the check again. she left came back and asked us what we had ordered so she could ring it in to give us the checks… I got my check I had ordered the squash risotto and added steak onto it since they asked if I wanted to add a protein. the risotto was 40 which I expected I wasn’t expecting that the added steak that was cold and cut up was the size of my palm to be an extra 35 $ onto of the 40 meal.. so I had to pay almost double to add maybe 5 bits of cold steak to my cold risotto after basically waiting 2 hrs to eat and leave. felt like we were being passed around cause no one wanted to serve us and the restaurant had maybe 3 other tables in it so its not like they were busy. very horrible time and very horrible service. only person who was helpful and nice was the hostess
