I have now tired the pastries several weeks in a row and have had almost one of everything . I can tell you that no pastries ever disappoint. They are the best tasting and flakiest pastries I have ever tried and any ones that have a cream or mousse filling, forget about it because that just means they are even more delicious and light and airy. I come back time and time again always waiting to try something new and get my weekly fix!! Absolutely yummy!

Everything Verginia makes is a hit! We’ve had the croissant, beignets, cronuts, kouign Amman and they are all delicious. We’ve even braved a rainstorm to get our hands on her pastries. She will also sell you some treats frozen so you can buy a bunch and bake them when the craving hits.

Let me start by saying, I’m typically not one for sweets, but Verrukkelijk Home Bakery has completely won me over! Everything I tried was beyond delicious! Each treat had just the right amount of sweetness and flavor.
The Almond Croissant was absolutely divine. It had the perfect balance of almond flavor and flakiness. And don’t even get me started on the Strawberry Croissant Donut – that fluffy, light buttercream was to die for! I could have eaten a whole bowl of it. Plus, the croissant itself was perfection in texture and flakiness.
Now, let’s talk about the Kouign Amann with the cinnamon center – simply amazing! I found myself craving more of that delicious center sauce to slather all over. I can only imagine how incredible it would taste warm, straight out of the oven. Truly to die for.
So, what can I say? I used to not like sweets, but Verrukkelijk Home Bakery has completely changed my mind! Highly recommend!

Today I walked in a small Club house in NJ and had the chance to taste Verginia’s homemade bakery.

Verrukkelijk s a name that most won’t be able to pronounce but a rough translation would be “delicious” or “delight” That’s what you’ll feel when eating one of Vergnia’s efforts. She doesn’t just bake, she “creates”. Every ingredient is considered and thought is given to each one. She has a deep culinary background and story. When I hear that she’s visiting my community, I don’t eat dinner. Enjoy!
