This is simply the best place in town for incredible Mexican birria. The menu prices may seem a bit high, but you do not understand the sheer amount of top quality food that you get in a Veronica’s entree.
Since it’s the specialty of the house, you can get birria EVERYTHING here, so I went with the birria-quiles, which is a birria-fied version of the Mexican staple chiliquiles. It’s basically a ton of birria and red salsa with a think layer of queso fresco cheese served over chips and topped with two eggs. It’s out of control, but it can also easily feed two people. I got carried away and finished the whole thing with the aid of a giant margarita at lunch and then just didn’t eat anything else for about 24 hours.
It’s a very nice place with colorful carved chairs and tables and friendly staff. The outside is maybe a little off-putting because it’s in a strip mall, but once you get inside you’ll be glad you came. A real treasure. Not to be missed.

First time at Veronica’s. Heard a lot about this place and they did not disappoint. I had a birria taco, chicken taco, and chorizo with steak taco, which I never knew existed. Everything was . I’ve always said that if you’ve been to one Mexican restaurant, you’ve been to them all. Not Veronica’s, the chicken hit different, the birria taco was the best I’ve had, and that chorizo with steak was crazy. Customer service was A-1. I will definitely be back

This was my first time trying Veronica’s and it definitely won’t be my last. The drinks were great. The food was amazing.I can’t wait to come back and try other items. The only thing I disliked was trying to find somewhere to park, eventually I did and again enjoyed myself alot. I definitely recommend this place.

The baria was very flavorful. We ordered a combo of taco, rools, and “pizza” and shared, and we still had extra to take home. It looks seedy from the outside, but the seating is plentiful and the food special.

Easily the best Birria the wife and I have ever experienced. Also, the service was spot on. We will be stopping back here during our family visits to Louisville.

I was in the area for my older son tennis match recently and we ate there, the service was fast and great. The tacos al pastor were delicious. Chips and salsa free were tasty. The atmosphere and decor was awesome!

This place is absolutely phenomenal food, traditional full flavors, heat when you expect it, flavorful in everything I have tasted. The verse salsa is incredible and spicy. Best Mexican in town 1000%

First time here, and they didn’t disappoint. When we drove up, you could tell this was going to be a great place for lunch because of all the cars in the parking lot. They had plenty of seats, but it was busy. Birria definitely is the star of the show. The salsa was fantastic, and we all loved our dish for lunch. I will say that the shrimp birria is the best I’ve had in town. We will have to add Veronica’s to our lunch rotation.
01/16/25 : We’re back, and again, Veronica’s did not disappoint. I said this would be part of the lunch rotation. If you haven’t stopped in, you’re missing out.

Everytime we dine here, it is absolutely AMAZING! The food, the people, and the vibe. Try everything on the menu, but the birria eggrolls and chori queso are SPLENDIFFEROUS!!! Cannot be beat. Do not hesitate to try it. We also had a server who usually serves at a separate location, which now, because of his great service, we will go to his Veronica’s next! Thank you Alex!! Highly recommend.

Took my wife for her birthday to celebrate with the kids. Food was delicious and the live music fit the environment. Did have an issue with one of the daughters not getting her food till we were about done with our meals, but she munched on the chips and salsa till it arrived. Would recommend if you’re in the area and want to enjoy some good food.
