Food was amazing! Im from Texas I went to upper Louisana to see family. I drove 4 hours here to meet my Aunt for lunch. Worth every penny and mile I drove. I had the smothered sausage and chicken.

The serving staff is VERY EFFICIENT!
I ordered the shrimp stew with broccoli and cheese and potato salad–all very delicious!
an order of crawfish etouffee, too–yum!
I can’t wait to come back and try other items they may have…like the okra and hamburger steak.
The only items that I didn’t think were top notch were the desserts. The red velvet cake was maybe a 1.5/5 and the lemon cake slice maybe at…2/5.
I also saw a coconut slice of cake, too.

I’ve been hearing about this place for awhile some good and some bad so decided to try them out one Sunday, the food wasn’t too bad but definitely nothing to jump about but, i must say their cornbread dressing was good. Now the presentation of the food was sloppy, my potato salad was swimming in water from the green beans that tasted like they were just taking right out of the can, that was one of the bad things I heard people saying is that their food is served sloppy sorry I didn’t take a picture im not trying to be ugly maybe this will help them do better on presentation

I don’t even know where to begin. It starts in the drive-through whoever is taking the orders is super rude. They don’t allow you enough time especially if it’s your first time going give me time to look at the menu. Give me time to order I get it you’re busy, however, each and every customer should be treated differently. Understand that when a customer is ordering, give them the time to.
I am just completely shocked I hear so many good things about this place, but I have had a bad experience starting in that drive-through with the order taking.
This experience may not be for everybody.
The only thing that I will say Veronica is please make sure your employees are engaged with every customer respectfully

It’s a small no-frills diner that serves huge portions. They have delicious plate lunches at reasonable prices. I highly recommend this place.

First time going and we went to the drive thru, the lady at the window that gave me my order was very pleasant and I enjoyed her humor. She made me feel so comfortable by it being my first time there. The food was good and it was tasty and I loved the flavor of it. Good ole home cooking. I’ll be going back again.
