This little gem is sooooooo delicious! Glad another restaurant in the same area was super busy. I decided to move our party elsewhere after church. Found this gem on MapQuest. Also glad I ordered the pasta chicken A-la-mamma sauce. Now I have to drive from DFW airport to Decatur to eat this again. Yes, it’s worth the drive (1 hr drive). Life just isn’t fair.

This place provided a wonderful experience. The staff were nice, polite and attentive. The prices are really reasonable, I would even say prices are cheap for the type and quality of the food. The food was delicious. The rolls are homemade, soft and melt in your mouth. My wife and I got Calamari and stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer the calamari was good, the sauce they served it with was a homemade marinara and was delightful. The Stuffed mushrooms where probably my favorite thing we ordered, mushrooms stuffed crab and then serve it with a brandy cream sauce poured over it. The brandy cream sauce is probably one of the best sauces I’ve had in a while, my wife and I were dipping everything in the left over sauce. The only downside to the mushrooms was that you only got 5. I also ordered the Cannelloni for my entree. This did not disappoint. It was 2 pasta tubes filled with cheese, beef, spinach, and herbs topped with their homemade marinara and more cheese. While I wish it had a little more meat in it the flavor was still wonderful. We ordered a veggie pizza to take with us for later or next day to try. This pizza had wonderful flavor with homemade pizza dough and marinara, I think my only problem with the pizza was is was a little too thin so the middle of the pizza was more soft and would be floppy when picking up a slice but still had excellent flavor. I would highly recommend this place and will be back.

The service was great! Fast service, cold ice tea yummy, the bread was delicious! We celebrated 2 birthdays a family of 6 & we enjoyed our different meals. I didn’t get pictures of all of our food, because we enjoyed our family time. The food was delicious! Absolutely recommend it!

This is a nice place to stop for some Italian food. They have a satisfying selection of food and beverages. The service is nice. Food is prepared at an ok speed. Just a little wait from ordering to service.
My wife and I dropped by one Saturday at noon for some lunch. We each ordered a medium sized pizza. They both tasted very nice, but one would have been enough – but we took the rest home and had pizza for dinner too that night.

I’ve been visiting. Every time I come, the service, food, and atmosphere improve. It’s cozy, very friendly, and the prices are affordable.

Wow! Wonders never cease to amaze me! There is a little place, next door to the meat market I go to here in Decatur, I thought was closed down. To my surprise, I saw cars one day…. So my favorite lunch date and I were deciding where to go eat. I suggested it, because I’m tired of the same ol’. So we went to Verona’s, and the food was Awesome, homemade, and delicious!!!! Definitely going back! And Gary was our waiter – he’s amazing ask for him!!

Server was great. Atmosphere was stale. Hoped for a diamond in the rough. My meal, the chicken marsala, may have been a tv dinner with spaghetti thrown on top.
The Alfredo was bland, the spaghetti sauce was thin and watery, my wife’s gnocchi was decent.
Great reviews, but I’m not sure I’ll return.
