By far the best 900F wood fired Napoli style pizza using Italian 00 flour resulting in a crunchy charred chewy soft pliable crust along with flavors bursting from multiple points from the smoked mozzarella, pancetta, basil, tomatoes, and garlic! The wood fired oven imparts that delicious hint of smoky flavor on the whole pie (ordered the Oro Affumicato)! Although i have not dined here since 2020, i do miss the wood fired cauliflower offered at the time. As a business traveler i will miss this place greatly! Highly recommended!

OMG, best Pizza place in the Cleveland Area, Friday Dinner with friends, we ordered 2 appetizers, 3 Pizzas to share and Tiramisu & Gelato for dessert, everything was AMAZING, total $230 split in 2 $115 per couple, we had beers, Aperol Sprit and an express. the pizzas are cooked in a wooden oven, the dough is the real thing (very close to Italy), congratulations.

Some of the most amazing pizza ever!!
I am normally just a fan of the classic margarita, which of course is amazing here but I was surprised at how much I LOVED the Oro Affumicato, recommended by the amazing bartender.
I would recommend dining in and not taking it for carry out- we were on a time crunch so that’s what we did but this place is definitely worth of stopping in- good vibes all around.
The cannoli were epic as well!

This was a great Italian place that serves only Napoletana-style pizzas as mains. We tried the Buffalo Mozarella in the pizza and it was great and we like anchovies so this was the white type that was in either lemon or vinegar and was not as salty as the darker variety.
The price range I quoted here may be lower than actual as we usually have only water and no alcohol and we shared a pizza and I had the appetizer as my main. It was good for two though and not too heavy. If we ordered two pizzas it would have been too much too for us.
All the staff were great and nice. David and Val were nice and made our visit great.
This was a great choice for our one night in Cleveland. We were just passing through for a long drive.

Wow! One of a kind Cleveland pizza experience. The crust is soft, chewy and delicious. The sauce and flavors remind me of Italy on a summer day. The cantaloupe with prosciutto was sprinkled with salt and basil and was delightful. Caesar salad was sprinkled with bread crumbs giving it a nice crunch with a great homemade dressing. I will be making Vero a staple in my pizza rotation.

Closed my eyes and sent me back to Naples. High quality San Marzano, Buffalo Mozzarella, extra virgin olive oil, chewy light crust. Neapolitan pizza meant to be eaten fork & knife (no slices) like the people of Naples
There are plenty of other nearby options for crispy crust, ny/Ohio style, etc … if that’s what you prefer. This is not that!

This was a tasty experience. The Caesar salad was delicious, with its silky pile of Parmesan cheese and finely chopped lettuce. The pizza was excellent; perfectly baked, the crust is like biting a pillow with a crunchy outside. The service was fast and friendly. I felt welcomed and looked after. Really glad I got to try this.

Neapolitan pizza is my favorite food. This was a religious experience. The bartender had to check on me to make sure I was ok. The crust. I cannot over emphasize how amazing this crust is. It was as good if not better than pizza in Naples. Toppings were highest quality and not overwhelming. Absolutely a perfect Neapolitan experience.

The Caesar salad here was really good. The pizzas were a bit too salty. Their tiramisu tasted quite authentic, but it was very sweet, and we suspect the cream was made with raw eggs, because we all ended up with stomach issues afterward.

Update: They are open again after a two month refurb (to the person complaining they drove an hour and called the owner irresponsible for not announcing they were closed: they completely remodeled the place. It was on their website. Your one star review should be completely ignored.) Place looks amazing and staff are their usually friendly selves. Today we ordered a Margherita pizza and a Caesar salad to go.
We have an apartment right down the road in Cedar Fairmount area that we use 1-2 weeks/month. We always try to get Vero’s pizza when we are in town. It is one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had from all around the world. I get the Pizza Margherita. Tonight I added sausage. Delicious! Everyone who works there is welcoming and helpful. We usually dine there but tonight I got take away. Get there early!
