Contemporary Italian fare & pizza served in a warm, wood-filled dining room or on a covered patio.

Such a cute, authentic spot in the neighborhood! When the waitress greeted us with a heavy Italian accent we automatically knew we were in for a treat. The food was all freshly prepared and incredibly tasty. The eggplant appetizer was a standout on its own. Tip: save the bread to dip in the sauce!

I absolutely LOVED this place! The service was impeccable, the food’s delicious, the ambience was cozy and romantic.
We ordered the Bruschetta with Burrata. The B was so creamy! I had the Bucatini A’ matriciana, just the right amount of spicy My date had the lasagna which was extra cheesy and a hearty portion.
Looking forward to visiting again!

Hidden Gem! Been meaning to check this place out for a while and so glad we did! The ambiance is lovely and the food incredibly fresh and authentic.
If chicken could be steak, their Pollo alla Pizziola would be filet. So juicy, melt in your mouth, explosion of flavor.
The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back.

AMAZING. We got the Carbonara, amatriciana, truffle gnocchi, seafood pasta, traditional 3 plate pasta, bread and dip (I forgot the name) , tiramisu & limoncello gelato. Can’t complain about anything. Everything tasted Just like Italy , service was exceptional, super cute place, friendly staff. 100% authentic food made and cooked there. Fresh pasta & sauce. By far the best Italian food I have had in Miami.

This place looked amazing in the reviews, but save yourself from dining in. The staff was attentive, and they really tried. The food was horrible. It was super salty and unauthentic. The bolognese was super greasy. I wanted to add sausage to one of the pasta dishes, and they gave me boiled sausage on the side. My glass of wine was hot. I really wanted to give this place a try, but it was horrible. I’m sorry to leave a review like this.

Great authentic Italian food! You would never know it’s in the heart of downtown, however you don’t feel like you are in downtown when you are there. Everything I have tried there has been delicious!!! My favorite so far the lamb ravioli which were a special of the day. Hope I can try them again sometime soon. They also have a good some selection and very friendly staff. It won’t disappoint!

This is easily the most beautiful locale on the block- a restaurant situated in between concrete pillars of downtown buildings, Vero Italian stands out with its glass panes and natural lighting from its many windows, as well as the wooden accents and greenery decorating the entrance. Owned by a husband and wife from Italy, the menu boasts authenticity and genuine Italian flavors and service. This lovely restaurant hosts indoor and outdoor seating- and we chose to sit indoors, where casual elegance is the theme. We were greeted warmly by the owner and offered a drink immediately. My mom opted for a wine and was recommended the Chardonnay, which she claims to be some of the best she’s had. After looking over the menu, we were somewhat at a loss and ended up relying on some suggestions for our dining experience. We ended up choosing the Involtini di Melanzane e Ricotta- a delicious dish with ricotta & provolone that was cheesy and saucy, and paired perfectly with the complementary bread. The owner highly recommended the Rigatoni Alla Carbonara as one of their true authentic dishes from home, and my mom chose that as her entree. I went with The Linguine Nere- as I’ve been dying to try a squid ink platter for some time now. Our appetizer was served quickly and we devoured every bit of it, dipping our bread in the cheese and tomato. The server was very attentive and often came around to replace our waters and clear any used cutlery and plates. Once our pastas were brought out, we were ready to dig in. I LOVED my linguine- there was a perfect amount of chili to give it a hint of spice and it was a gorgeous plate. The rigatoni was also incredible and the pancetta was savory and gave the whole dish amazing flavor. For dessert, we opted for the Panna Cotta and the Tiramisu. This was easily the best Tiramisu I’ve had thus far. The coffee flavor was perfectly balanced to the sponge, and the cream was amazing. We had never had Panna Cotta before and we loved it- a mild sweetness, which perfectly topped our meal! We truly enjoyed our visit and I want to come back to try some of their pizza- I saw a Peri Peri pie calling my name!

Really disappointed in the food, we ordered two pizzas- both were raw, wet, and inedible. We also ordered the squid ink pasta “spicy” which had very little flavor. They also offered us bread to start which was very dry and the server did not mention we would be charged an additional 10$ for it. Overall not a good experience for the price point.
