Don’t be put off with the $30-50 price tag listed there. Those picture selections (excluding the free plantain chips starters) cost around $50 total. This was our 1st year Anniversary dinner and we did not regret our choice. We highly recommend it as date night (for sure) or just a night out for dinner. Great atmosphere, great service, great dinner night out!

My husband and I went to Vero last night to celebrate our anniversary, and it’s the first time we’ve gone back since they reopened. I love the changes they’ve made with a focus on small, shareable plates which is one of my favorite ways to dine. The food was outstanding, and the staff were all pleasant and efficient. I’m excited to have Vero back and even better than it was before.

I am overjoyed to have chosen this restaurant- the highlight of my Racine visit. Lovely atmosphere, personable service, and fantastic dishes- it was so hard to choose, but I loved the duck wontons and the braised goat I chose, with fried plantains for dessert!

Well, you see half the tea service still remaining. It was absolutely fantastic. So unique, relaxing, and so enjoyable having tea, mimosa, and all the little delicacies sitting right in front of you with refills of each of the goodies when we ran low. That in addition to wonderful company and conversation.
Once again, Vero was absolutely the best experience today. Such a wonderful way to start Sunday. I will be back frequently. The vibe of the entire space and staff was so welcoming. We just chilled there all early afternoon. Loved it !

It is very hard to find a restaurant that goes above and beyond, and Vero is over the top. Atmosphere is so cool and relaxing even including the music. As soon as you sit you are offer an exotic chip and salsa blend complementary. Every thing on the menu including Alcoholic Drinks is priced accordingly. Highest priced items on menu were steak and lamb still under $30. Portion sizes were great to share. Everything had so much flavor and authentic. The lava cake dessert was out of this world just like Lava, it blew me away. On
Both my partner and self cook international food for our Yoga Community.
This restaurant is now in my top two favorites!

We had our anniversary dinner here and it was wonderful. Our waiter was pleasant and friendly and the food was so good! We had cucumber sandwich, brisket, empanadas, and my favorite was the chicken wings. Get the wings they are boneless and delicious.
My drink was also very good. And the root chips and dip they give you when you sit down were also great.

If you want to try something a little different and amazing, try Vero International Cuisine. It was easily one of the best meals that I have had in a very long time. It has an African flair, which sometimes mixes flavors that you would not expect go together… but they do! The waitress stated the portions are not large, so people often order multiple items and share them in groups. The portions were larger than we expected and we brought quite a bit home, but this was a great way to try different things. Everything we tried was amazing! I recommend starting with the hummus tray. Incredible! But, now I need to go back. I haven’t tried the Lamb Lollipop meal yet…

Our (my wife and myself) first visit. It was Thursday night, rather quiet. The Bartender Savannah mixed good drinks and educated us regarding menu choices – very attentive and helpfull. Bar and dining area atmosphere are nice. We ordered 3 small plates, Saffron Shroom toast, Island shrimp and Jerk Chicken. That was more then enought to fill us. All the food was excellent, properly seasoned and prepared. Waitress Hailey was friendly, attentive and competant. In total an excellent 1’st visit. I want to return to try more menu items.
