What a wonderful Restaurant!!
The service was fantastic! Our server Madeleine was the sweetest and very attentive.
The FOOD wow! We started with the meatballs and ricotta so tasty! My husband’s had the lamb chops with potatoes and I had the salmon on a bed of couscous talk about delicious and perfectly cooked! We ended the night with a slice of cherry pie with a scoop vanilla ice cream just right not too sweet!
We highly recommend this chop house!

This food was phenomenal. From our Lobster mac n cheese, tar tar, fish dip and my New York strip every part was great.
Waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful. A must stop if you are in this area.

Meat=goooooooooooood.
Potatoes=goooood
Atmosphere=goood
Wait staff = good, awesome, great, excellent, amazing, top notch, top shelf, and super kind. They gave me a free desert because I was working from out of town to help restore spectrum internet infrastructure after the ice storm. Go here and get prime rib, you won’t be disappointed. My mashed potatoes even came with a little pine tree, (don’t eat that, believe me.)

Well sadly my wife and I were both disappointed. She got the Ribeye it was tough as leather and resembling jerky. Then I went ahead and ordered the Tomahawk steak. Not worth 158 dollars at all. Again very tough and not flavorful at all. The artichoke dip and Cherry Pepsi were the highlights of the night. We had to get BC Pizza after and that was more satisfying.

You might as well go to McDonalds. That’s what we ended up doing afterwards. We arrived later in the evening. They stop serving the full menu after 9pm. We got there about 9:10 or so. We were immediately told about the after 9 menu, handed the menu to review and decide while the hostess walked away. She looked surprised that we came inside to eat. The only two entrees on the menu are the ribeye or filet. $50 and $59 respectively. Served with steak fries. Steak and steak fries, no vegetable. We were hungry and a lot of restaurants closed or stopped serving at 9 pm so we stayed. We immediately felt like they were annoyed that we were there. Maybe they were worried about having to work past closing if we were starting to eat so late. We even asked the waitress if it was an inconvenience because we didn’t want to be subjected to a poor experience, poor service and food. She said no, it’s why they have a late evening menu. Cool. We ordered wings as an appetizer. They were OK. As for the entrees, the steaks were terrible. Absolutely no seasoning. The steak fries were huge and burnt. Crunchy hard and burnt. We asked them to be redone. They were still awful. We took the filet off the menu, it was that bad. We had ordered a salad, she forgot it. I wish restaurants would just not serve when they don’t want to. Our bill was $90 even without the salad and filet. We left hungry and our choices were McDonalds and KFC.

Been eating here for years, went tonight and the food was horrible! Amazing service but food was cold, tasted funny. Don’t order the calamari. It has a metallic aftertaste. Fish and steak not good. New chef and menu. Not going back, very sad to us.

Second visit, same mess, awful service, mediocre food at best. Our waitress was clearly buried with too many tables (managements problem), and after taking our order we never saw her again.

Sadly, the side salad came out with the meal, and I didn’t want to eat a cold sandwich. The chicken penne alfredo was bad and laughably overpriced at $38.

No water refills, and the entire place smelled like some sort of bathroom disinfectant. We would’ve ordered more drinks and dessert if service had been on point. Two visits was generous, there won’t be a third

Absolutely sweet restaurant with a lot of character. There was a classy upscale side and a family friendly side. The whitefish was delicious and the service was friendly, timely and storied. Some of the servers were long time residents and knew history about the area.

Just left Vernales and both my sister and brother-in-law were sick from the 1) ribeye and 2) the special prime rib. The meat was OLD ( no juice dry), no flavor and hard to chew. I had the special: Mahi Mahi blackened and I guess I lucked out and it was very good hence the point 2 review for the food. Will not be ever going back. Too bad nice atmosphere.

Our food was amazing, exceptional service (Lisa), great menu. We had the filets, gnocchi, Caprese Salad and Buratta Bruschetta. Everything was delish but their peanut butter ice cream pie was the absolute best!
