Edit: Owner did contact me and apologise. They are new owners with recipes inherited from the previous owners and they are using AI generated images while they wait to do a photo shoot. Understandable that they are setting up the business but it still wasn’t the pizza I was hoping to receive.
Went to order today and the new website looks nice, but have discovered our 2 Single Pizzas deal is gone (great for us as one is a vegetarian and the other isn’t). Not only that but now they charge an extra $2.27 “platform and card fee” that is snuck on to the end confirmation screen. Really disappointing coming from our favourite place, as every thing else has been consistently great. Pizza is always hot, delivered quickly etc.
Possibly the management changed? Bummer if so. Don’t really want to find a new place
Absolutely recommend for fabulous old school pizza taste.
I found Vermont Pizzeria on google 20 minutes before closing while looking for a last minute dinner that would cater for the family (lactose intolerant & plant-based). I called and was met with a very friendly gentleman who was polite and patient whilst taking my order of the veggie vegan pizza and the vegetarian gourmet vegan pizza.
Upon picking up my order right before close I met the owners. They were both extremely friendly and passionate about making sure everyone is catered for while also promoting vegan pizzas in a flexitarian-friendly way. Even my non-vegan family loved them. It reminded us of a classic local pizza shop taste, which is rare for a vegan pizza. The gourmet crust was slightly more soggy than the veggie pizza, but the toppings were still delicious. The veggie pizza was exactly what we wanted and couldn’t fault it. Thank you.
This is a local, family run business which has inclusive options in addition to menu items for those wanting to cut down on meat consumption. All this while still being delicious and friendly!
Thank you.
Ordered 2 pizzas online. Delivery time was indicated to be 50 mins after the order was accepted. It was delayed and the store didn’t even answer the phone. Had to drive down to the shop and check the whereabouts of my order. I was told it has been dispatched. Reached home to find that pizzas are badly burnt. Tried calling again but no one picked. Mind you, it’s not exactly a cheap place. Each pizza was 26 bucks.
Update
Noted the response from owner below. I would generally not respond but the reply below is outright lie. The pizza was delivered in exactly in 1 hour 26 mins. Not sure what is considered a slight delay by owners definition below. Also had they picked up the phone and provided the whereabouts of my order, I wouldn’t need to drive down to their shop.(After paying 6 dollars extra for home delivery). Also the pics of burnt pizza are added. I have ordered from them quite a few times, at times even for small gatherings. So I know the difference.
