Had the most delightful time at Veritas Whiskey and Wine Grill with a large party. Our server was knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. The atmosphere is lovely. The Honey Orange Salmon was out of this world delicious. The potatoes were perfect and the brussel sprouts were some of the best. Can’t wait to go back soon.

Happy hour on Mondays is great. The place was not super busy at all. Staff was friendly and bar was clean.
We did not eat just did drinks. I would partake in happy hour again.

The food was absolutely excellent — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The service was just as impressive; everyone was friendly and attentive. We ordered a red wine and a beer, and both were served perfectly chilled and paired nicely with the meal. I wish I could’ve taken pictures to share, but my phone died during the meal. Still, the experience was so good that it’s worth writing about even without photos. Highly recommend!

We came to this restaurant due to it being advertised through KC Restaurant week. The dishes displayed on the website looked amazing so we made a reservation. When arriving the place had 4 tables taken, pretty empty. As we ordered waiter mentioned the website is very old and they did not carry any of the dishes we wanted. We decided to try what they had for restaurant week. Food was good but not what we had hoped to eat. So if you’re going know you are getting different dishes than what’s advertised. We tried it but won’t be going back.

5 stars all around!! My fiance and I have been a few times and they are so sweet, great with allergies, the service is EXCELLENT, and the atmosphere is so warm and fun especially around Christmas. And oh my goodness the food is amazing!

Verity’s Whiskey & Wine Grill was just average. The drinks and atmosphere were okay, but nothing really stood out.
Honestly, it was the company we were with that made the evening fun. As for the restaurant itself, it wasn’t quite memorable enough for us to plan a return visit.

Great service, great food, great atmosphere and great experience. We had the southwestern eggrolls, whipped honey and goat cheese, asian chicken wings, and shrimp al vino. These were appetizers to get us started. We enjoyed everything we had. My boyfriend had Crab Cake Benedict, best friend had the logger with sausage, and I had the honey chicken sandwich. Fantastic happy hour prices! This is a hidden gem and don’t sleep on this place. Just GO!

We went to Veritas for the first time this afternoon. . We were immediately greeted with a very warm reception. We chose to sit at the bar. I ordered an old fashion which was fabulous. My husband ordered the peppercorn tenderloin tips and I had the chicken spiedini , both were FABULOUS!! The service was really good. Paul was the bartender. He was not only friendly but his suggestions were spot on. We would and will definitely come back. This was such a wonderful experience. Thank you!!

Celebrated my birthday dinner with my daughter here….drinks were fantastic – esp.the French vanilla old fashioned. Food was on point….only complait would.be that my daughter ordered her steak med rare…was more med/med well (only thing keeping my from rating food as a 5….but my daughter is not one to say anything and wouldn’t let dad )..the ahi was great…salmon dip was stellar and the carrot cake was out of this world. Will definitely be back.

This was my second time at Veritas, it was not as great as our first time. The service was off, we never really knew who our server was and no one checked on us for our food until we were done eating. We were served a drink where the soda had clearly ran out for but we didn’t get ahold of the server for 20 minutes. Also My second pear martini was so different than my first, way stronger and not as tasty. The dessert sounded great but the brownie was lukewarm. Overall the entrees were great but everything else was just ok.
