I went on a Wednesday evening. The atmosphere was welcoming. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable about the cocktails on the menu. I ordered 2 cocktails and a IPA. Every drink was great! The menu changes out every 6 months. It’s definitely worth the experience #satisfied

“Verdigris” stands out as the most boujee bar in the Leawood OP area, offering a dark ambience with a modern touch. The interior, complete with a large mirror, is a perfect spot for capturing those Instagram-worthy moments – the gram will love it! Their cocktail selection is truly outstanding, with a near-endless array of options. Prices are well-balanced, with the upper half of the menu moderately priced and the lower half on the expensive side. You won’t be disappointed by their top-class drink offerings. The outdoor seating area is a delightful addition, and don’t miss out on trying their smokey drinks – they’re worth every sip!

Excellent drinks, in a pretty location… without having to go all the way to downtown Kansas City. Friendly waitstaff. Their drink menu has something for everyone. While the price per drink is a little high, you get what you pay for. Outstanding quality drink with some showmanship…I had the Holy Antimony cocktail, it was served with a dry ice bubble. Everyone in my group loved their drink as well.

Tried three different drinks during our first visit to Verdigris. The highlight for me was the Gimlet. Refreshing, bright, and tart. Enjoy this off the recommendation of the bartender. Bramble and paloma were good too, but nothing special.

Incredible cocktail bar. Beautiful interior with comfortable seating and a great vibe. I had the “Carrot Cake at Work” and it was one of the best drinks I’ve had. They also have food options that looked great. Make a reservation- they are always very busy.

Love this place! They always play good rap music and make some of the best rye whiskey cocktails I’ve ever had. Head bartender, Kory, is awesome and I love watching him work. General Manager is always fun to talk to and he really knows his stuff when it comes to fine spirits. Cocktails here never make me sloppy drink and I never get hangovers. Highly recommend the Green Lion, yes it’s the most expensive, but for a reason. You won’t regret this place if you can appreciate a fine cocktail.

Very delicious and creative cocktails with friendly staff. Some nicer cocktail places try to create wildly unique drinks, but they end up tasting less than desirable. Not here! Everything we ordered was delicious and had great flavor, but was also unique and creative. Open seating at the bar, but definitely make reservations if you want a table.

The scent throughout this cocktail lounge is intoxicating. (Yes, they do pump the scent through the air vents, and it’s amazing!). Of course they won’t tell what the scent is. I’ll just have to keep coming back for more so I can inhale the sensuous scent. Oh, and the cocktails are pretty amazing, too . Cheers, Verdigris, well done! We’ll be back again, and again.
