Inside the restaurant, you can enjoy an intimate meal with a loved one, or a group of family and friends. Outside, we’ve designed the covered patio and open area to cater to families, creating an environment with an amphitheater setting and a large green grass area designed specifically for play. With plenty of footballs and frisbees to toss, this area is an environment where kids can play to their heart’s content, and adults can either join them or sit back and enjoy a cocktail on the patio while they wait for their meal to be served. The best of both worlds!

Mexican grill fare is served in a warm, lodgelike setting with a covered patio & a live-music venue.

Food- terrific, atmospher- wonderful, service – perfect! I stepped out to grab my screaming kids’ toy only to come back and learned that the owner came out and brought him a toy car. I really appreciate the gesture, and thank you for this. I’d definitely go here again if we ever pass through.

Stopped by Verde’s for dinner this past Saturday. We decided to dine at the bar, as the STL Cardinals game was just starting on the TV behind the bar!!! Met Brandon working behind the bar, who turned out to be one of the owners, and originally from my home state of MO, and also a HUGE Cardinals fan! His Cardinals baseball cap was a giveaway! LOL It felt like it was going to be a good night… and it was!

Had a Chipotle pork chop and it was delicious. I’m not a huge sweet potato fan but they let me swap out the sweet potato for green Chile mashed potatoes that were delicious. Also a lot of tequila options and you can build your own margarita. Great place

Although service was ok, food took over an hour to get. Which is understandable at times but not once did manager make appearance to address the many tables complaining. Probably spent extra $30 cause long wait on drinks. On a good note usually great service and experiences , and the updates they are doing are nice.

My wife and I stopped by here recently not knowing what to expect other than being aware that it is a Mexican style restaurant. The parking is ample. The interior is spacious, clean, and moderately decorated. Our server came right away with chips, salsa, and water. We both ordered frozen Margaritas and upon his deliverying we placed our orders. I had the Ranchero Beef Enchiladas with refried beans and Mexican rice. My wife had the Chile a la Parrilla. The salsa with chips was very tasty. The salsa had a fresh taste with chunky tomato consistency. We liked it very much. We did not care for the Margaritas as we found them to be bitter and not sweet. We each had a couple of sips and then no more. My wife enjoyed the Chile a la Parrilla which is stuffed with mushrooms, cheese, and topped with ranchero sauce, queso, cilantro, and creme fresh. The black beans seemed a little too thick. The white rice was just typical white rice. My Ranchero Beef Enchiladas were a large serving. The shredded beef was tasty but I did not care for the Ranchero sauce which was thin consistency and rather tasteless. The refried beans were bland. In my opinion they needed a little salt and garlic which would have enhanced the flavor. The Mexican rice was fine. To summarize, I found this restaurant to lean heavily into northern Mexico cuisine (either red or green chile topping with crema and queso fresco) whereas TexMex uses ground beef, chili con carne, and toppings using yellow cheddar cheese. The menu does not include the typical TexMex dishes such as enchilada plates, tamales, and tacos. Verdes Parrilla is more upscale with offerings such as quail, bacon wrapped shrimp, roasted brussel sprouts, ceviche, etc. The different offerings might appeal to those patrons who desire entrees other than the standard Mexican restaurant offerings. I personally prefer the standard Mexican fare but “to each his own”.

Great service, great food. Nice play area for the kids while you wait. Good happy hour prices and selection. The salsa was really good. The beef tostadas were really tasty. As well as the fish tacos and beef enchilada although I thought it was a little small. Overall great flavor and the Mexican martini was a hit. If back in the area again will stop again.

Big parking lot directly in front, so no worries there. A lot of seating as we arrived around 1230pm. Waiter came quickly with chips, salsa, and water. Was quick on taking order as well. Food came out at a good pace, but a little slow came time to pay.
