So refreshing!
Three of us came here before heading to a concert at St. John the Divine. That’s an easy 10 minute walk from this place. I wasn’t sure what to expect. but the reviews were good so we tried it. The three of us split two appetizers, one pizza and one pasta. It was just the right amount of our light appetites that night.
I wish I remembered our delightful server’s name. He was so proud of the place and what his friend had done with it. Well deserved praise all around. I made a reservation since we were there close to Valentine’s Day. I’m glad I did. It filled up completely over the course of our meal. Enjoy!
Great people and great hang!
The grilled fish dish was equally impressive – tender and juicy, with a crisp, well-seasoned skin, accompanied by delicious grilled vegetables and a bright red pepper sauce.
The heirloom tomato and burrata salad was fresh, vibrant, and beautifully balanced with pesto and basil.
And for dessert, the cannoli was absolute perfection – a crispy shell filled with silky ricotta and a subtle sweetness that ended the meal on a high note.
Everything was presented with care and tasted even better than it looked. Highly recommended – can’t wait to come back!
We started with the cheese board, tomato salad and a very interesting and super tasty carrot raisins and pesto combination. Everything was very fresh including the home-made same day, fresh bread that was served generously.
I got the branzino, that was cooked perfectly and garnished with smoked red pepper, zucchini and a dash of rosemary – but couldn’t resist trying their homemade pasta, – the ragu- that looked dand tasted delicious.
Their wine list is so interesting: we went for a Venetian wine Ribolla that complimented our food great.
We also shared pizzas with the perfect crust- the zucchini one and potato pizza are so light and delicious for a summer night!
Couldn’t leave without having cannolis and tiramisu – so yummy!
Such a great little place, newly renovated with a nice contemporary vibe , marble tables yet very friendly and accessible – moreover food is all home made from bread to pasta to pizza, and we want to go back soon for the ribeye and one of those red wines – and the pizzas, of course.
I would not go back to this restaurant again.
Their wine list is just as impressive, with a carefully curated selection of Italian wines that pair beautifully with the dishes. The staff is knowledgeable and happy to recommend the perfect pairing.
Service is friendly, attentive, and genuine—clearly passionate about Italian cuisine and culture. Whether you’re out for a date night or a casual dinner with friends, this place delivers authenticity, quality, and charm. A must-visit for pizza and wine lovers!
