Can I rate this higher than five stars? Why does the scale stop at five? This is the best fire-grilled fish I’ve ever had. The first bite felt like a scene from a documentary, as if I had been transported back to a primitive age and the world’s best primal chef had cooked a meal over an open fire just for me. Simply seasoned with a touch of salt, it had perfectly crispy skin and a soft, juicy interior. + with very reasonable price.

They serve you a variety of grilled fish and meat. I had the first one on the menu and it was great. It was very soft and didn’t have any smell. I can’t explain it more it was just perfect,,, Also the staff was very nice and tried to help me a lot. One thing you have to know is that you might sit next to someone you don’t know if you are in a small group. They don’t distinguish the tables strictly. But it didn’t bother me much! I still had a wonderful experience 🙂

authentic, amazing taste. And the Chief is the coolest man, who I was able to meet in Lisboa. Very good kitchen, amazing bacalhau.
Tasty, authentic, local, a must see and must try in Lisboa.

My favourite restaurant in Lisbon. I’ve been here a couple of times and I’m always impressed by how fresh the fish is. I’ve had the grilled cuttlefish, sardines, sea bass and sea bream. Each dish was so delicious and well seasoned. Even the potatoes that come on the side are amazing. The guys who run this place are sweet and unimposing. It’s 100% a Portuguese family restaurant vibe where you’ll see more locals than tourists. My mom and I went the other night and got 2 meals, 0.5L wine, 2 espressos, bread and olives and paid less than 40 euros. Next time I’m in Lisbon I will be back <3

A very good restaurant, where locals go to dine. You get good portions of grilled meat and fish. They don’t speak English, but the menu card has english translation. Not really a fancy restaurant, but food is good, grilled to perfection. Great value for money.

A true Portuguese treasure! Nestled in a cozy, kitchen‑style space, it delivers an authentic local dining vibe. The grilled sea bass and cuttlefish with boiled potatoes were fresh and flavorful. Superb service, lovely beer selection (even alcohol‑free!), and a must‑visit when you can snag a table!

This place is the kind of place I wish I had – charcoal grill right up front, excellent friendly silly staff, so popular, and surprisingly incredible desserts. Photos from dorfster.so on ig
