We have locations throughout the Carolinas in Charleston and Columbia. All locations are locally owned and operated by Verde founders, Sam and Jennifer Ferrebee, who opened Verde seven years ago with a goal to serve food, people, and the community in a way that’s good for all. I had not eaten at Verde in a while and my husband picked up 2 wraps to take home. One was big enough for both my husband and I so we put the other one in the refrigerator for later. The ingredients were probably good but there was so much dressing, we could hardly taste them or even eat the wrap. It was drenched and dripping with dressing. I can’t imagine why the person making it out so much dressing on it as to make it almost inedible. We did manage to eat the first wrap but could not imagine having to deal with all of that dressing again and threw the other one away. Maybe they should ask if you want heavy or light dressing or offer to put it on the side. Or if we eat there again we will pay closer attention to the person making it and ask for light dressing.

ordered ahead so i could pick up quickly… the order wasn’t ready or even started yet when i arrived 10 min after the scheduled pick up time. staff ignored me for five minutes until i flagged them down and they were out of multiple ingredients and forgot to give me my bread. the food is good but they wasted over half of my lunch break just to get my food :/

Possibly the best salad I’ve ever eaten. Great spot after a beach day when you don’t want something heavy but still want to feel full. The salads are BIG, toppings are perfectly proportioned, and they mix everything together which feels like an added bonus. I ordered a seasonal salad – This is how we (spring) roll – and my friend did a create-your-own style. We both wish we had this restaurant closer to our homes (I will be bringing all my guests here when I take them out toward the beach or into Charleston). Also, their strawberry limeade is fresh and tastes like you’re drinking a strawberry. So delicious.
Clean place. Not crowded. Lots of parking. Tables are really close together, but it’s just a small space and there weren’t a lot of people, so it wasn’t a problem for us.
Also, their dressings are all gluten-free, so if you have that dietary restriction, you’re safe. 🙂

I usually love Verde and have had great experiences there before this one incident tonight. I had a really bad experience with one of the employees. She was super rude and short with me. Her horrible attitude and the salad itself made me pretty upset. She barely chopped my salad and the salad was not good. I said I wanted a water cup and I unknowingly grabbed the wrong cup. Thankfully I realized because she was going to charge me 3 dollars for what I thought was a free water cup. The other employee that was helping other guests was great and super fast!

Have been coming here for 6 years and have never had a problem. It’s always been a little pricey but a great salad with plenty of food. Now they have changed the container that the salad is served in and they are much much smaller. I’m talking now you get about HALF the amount of food for the same ‘pricey’ price! That’s not an exaggeration, you get HALF the salad as previously available. It’s absolutely ridiculous and I will definitely not be buying anything from this place anytime soon. Sad they have gone the price gouging route:(

2.45 for half a brown avocado and .85 cent charge for one extra dressing. This place sucks. I’ve gone before and they didn’t charge extra for dressing. Just make your own salad at home since they’re gonna pick and choose when to charge extra. If you’re gonna charge me almost 3 dollars for half a brown avocado at least cut a new one for the customer.

A great find, all they do are salads which can be ordered in a bowl or in a wrap. The staff members were very welcoming, attentive, friendly, and helpful explaining the different salads and also offering us several options for customizing the pre-designed salads or if we didn’t see a salad we liked, we could “design-our-own” salad. My wife ordered the Seasonal “Strawberry Fields w/roasted chicken” in a bowl and I ordered the “Mesa Verde” in a wrap. Both of our selections were made to order, filled with fresh ingredients, delicious, and to boot, the portion sizes were large. There were plenty of inside and outside seating available but because we were only a few minutes away from our hotel we elected to bring our food back to our hotel room to enjoy. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and service so we would return the next time we have a craving for a salad bowl/salad wrap.

Absolutely incredible salads customized or from the menu. Multiple varieties of lettuce and then an entire bar laid out of toppings. Homemade dressings are to die for. Parking right in front of the door on Coleman boulevard. Southern Harvest salad with sweet tea vinaigrette dressing is amazing and their bread and drinks. Vegan chili was fantastic also. Love everything about this place. The girl that helped us today was awesome also! Highly recommend!
