I went to west side market early morning on a weekday. The only good thing aside from seeing a historic landmark building was the soft pretzel cheese boat I ate here. Service was outstanding.

The customer service is outstanding—professional, knowledgeable, helpful and fun—lots of smiles and joy as they clearly enjoy interacting with their customers. I’ve so enjoyed their pretzel rolls and their cheesecake. Love supporting such a quality independent business at the West Side market!

The coconut Easter eggs/bunnies taste like bug spray. Not mildly either, as if it was soaked in it.
What a horrid experience. Imagine feeding that to your child…

Employees were welcoming and extremely friendly. Not only knowledgeable about products, but were able to accurately give superb suggestions on my purchases. The food is always fresh and delicious every time!!! The hard work and skill is evident in every tasty bite! I will continue to be a returning customer anytime I’m in town. You will not be disappointed, and Beth & Luke will take great care of you. Thank you guys, from yet another satisfied customer! TIP: Do not forget to TRY THE BEER BREAD, as you will not want to pass this item up!

If you love chocolate, you have got to try the chocolate cigar. I was in town visiting and looking at some chocolate filled pastries they had. The woman working, I’m assuming Vera, redirected me to the end of the case and told me to get the cigar (flaky pastry with folded chocolate inside covered in a traditional glaze). She said it with such confidence I knew I had to try it. OMG it was seriously one of the best desserts I have ever put in my mouth. I still dream about it . This will be my first stop next time I visit!

If I could give less than a star I would. Won a $10 coupon to Vera’s bakery in a basket at church fundraiser. Picked out $30 worth of pastries and when presented with coupon, owner would not honor. Claimed it was her stamp on receipt, but still wouldn’t accept. Passed on purchasing the bakery due to owners rude attitude. Took my business to Theresa bakery….who were delightful! Owner claimed she bought stand in august. I won the certificate in October. With her attitude won’t be in business long. Awful experience.

Stopped in May 26. I have to say that the cherry and apple strudel is the worst I have ever had. We paid $18.00 and I threw it away after one or 2 bites. I am full hungarian and the strudel was not even close. Some kind of phyllo dough and tasted like canned cherries and canned apples.

It tastes like it could have been made in heaven with Heavenly Angel Hamds.
Thank You.
