first time here. We had take out with a large pizza($15.50) and shrimp parm dinner(($19.95).Absolutely the best NY style pizza in Toms River. The shrimp parm had 6 jumbo shrimp, side of ziti( large), side salad and a loaf of bread! hot !! great staff, hustling all the time we were waiting. You can go across the street for entrees and pay double and no difference in quality. we were impressed and will now make this our go to Italian take out

This post relates to the “New Owners” of Verace’s! The food is outstanding. But by far, my absolute favorite is their pizza that has a sweet and salty taste to it! The pizza crust is on the thin side and so crispy, yet not hard, but definitely crispy! The square pizza is topped with chicken that is marinated in a sweetish coating that has a minor tang to it, coated in sesame seeds. Don’t worry, it’s not “spicy hot” at all. It is also topped with red onion, green and red peppers, cherry tomatoes and mozzarella cheese! The absolute best!!!! You have to give it a try, you won’t be sorry!
And the new owners are a beautiful, hard working family who is doing their best to balance their home and work life; with their older children working at the Pizzeria as well from time to time.

We have been looking for a place that has wraps that actually have something in them besides lettuce. Well this is our place now! The wraps are generous! The onion rings are not the breaded kind that cut the roof of your mouth and the fries are the ones with the crisp. Not the cheap fries other places have that are soggy and look like they are from the dollar store. Price is very fair! We are ordering again tonight!

We moved down here from North Jersey and have had such a hard time adjusting to the food! We are constantly trying different places to find the one! Well this pizzeria is THE ONE!! Absolutely delicious so perfect that we don’t mind the almost 30 min drive just to have a slice!!

Lucy was super sweet! The food was perfect & so fresh. I’ve never in my life tried a taco pizza like that. It tasted like Birra Taco Pizza! My kids also loved the cheese steak . Everything was portioned perfect and fresh. The restaurant was very clean. The people were nice. I would definitely recommend the new owned business. This has to be one of the best new pizza spots!

If I can give more stars, I would. AMAZING customer service. They go above and beyond to make customers happy, to the tune of making custom pizzas if they’re out of single slices. Incredible. No other pizza place around here would do that (and there’s plenty of other places). The best around!

I’ve never been before the new owners, cause I was there for the first time today. So I can’t compare the two. But the new owners are very nice and have their kids working with them all together as a family. The pizza was very very good and to me one of the best in the area. The crust is crispy, chewy, and doesn’t get rock hard as it cools like some other pizza crusts do. No matter how good the ingredients are, without a great crust a pie can’t be great…..they definitely have a great crust going on. I’ll definitely be back to try some more of their food!
