What a delightful, elegant and relaxing dining experience. It was time to reunite with a family friend; we wanted to try a new restaurant and we were pleasantly pleased with Vera.
Mike, our waiter graciously opened the door for us at the door, he promptly seated us at our reserved table next to the windows with a prime view of El Toro.
It was our first dining experience and Mike took the lead educating us on the menu and drinks as well, suggesting we might want to share our selections with our table. Our table was pleasantly pleased with each dish. Our selections were all creatively presented and freshly made, with no disappointments!

The food is fresh, the plates are beautiful, and everything they serve is delicious. It’s a chic restaurant with cozy modern details throughout the space. Love the vibe and the artwork in the gallery next door. It’s our favorite restaurant these days. We highly recommend taking friends and family if you are looking for a relaxing lunch or dinner.

6 star review! These people really care about food, the dishes are original, delicate, and the quality truly exceptional. The atmosphere is modern and elegant, the room bright and airy with huge floor-to-ceiling windows. Our server Mike alone deserves 6 stars for impeccable, friendly, extremely helpful, super attentive service. Thank you Mike, and warm congratulations to the whole team! We’re always happy when we go to La Vera! The food and service are consistently great, and the menu changes just enough with the seasons. The staff is always so generous and welcoming! Our only small wish would be for a wine list featuring a bit more diversity from different countries — but that’s just a wish!

Excellent time with friends here tonight! Yellowtail sashimi, burattta, artichokes and crab roll dishes were all excellent and I can’t wait to return. I would get those dishes again 10 times over, but also excited to try other dishes on the menu. Cocktails and affogato were spot on. Grateful for this gem in Morgan Hill.
