Had the BEST experience at Venus Pie yesterday after the Saturday market! The pizza was phenomenal! We ordered The Gatherer: tight, perfectly crispy crust, overflowing with fresh toppings, and oh soooo cheesy! We could taste the pride of work in every slice! Ordered my grandson a cheese slice, and they cut it into a dozen small squares for easy pickup without even asking – they even brought him a ball of dough to play and pretend to build a pizza with while we waited for our pizzas!
In addition, I want to brag about the excellent guest service from the entire staff: the hostess who shared when the Arcade room would reopen after a party which my grandson was hyper-focused on – and oh boy, did we ALL have a blast playing those old school games!; to the gentleman managing who checked in on us and all the other guests and took care of us above and beyond; to our server who was busy, busy, but working the floor like a boss and gifted us with some of the best and kindest service I’ve had in a very long time!
This place has been a gem of Spartanburg; I’ve been going since I was a teenager in high school in the late 90’s, but what they ALL served up that day was more than culinary: it was community, a “je ne sais quoi” we all crave when we go out to eat with our family and friends, and I’m so happy and grateful it’s just a few blocks away in our city.
Thank you, Venus Pie! You put the biggest smiles on our faces! Keep doing what you’re doing! You’re a standard we should all rise to meet in our culinary industry! Thank you!!!

I’ve ate here for many years! For some reason, there were several years of laps just in the hustle.
But we’ve been going back for quite a while and it’s turned into the wife’s favorite!

May be the best pizza in the upstate. Incredible quality, with a great undercarriage, good quality cheese, great sauce, and incredible atmosphere! If you want large large slices, this is it! I prefer asking for lightly well done!

Venus Pie!!! What happened?? I’ve NEVER said anything bad about this place and have been coming for YEARS!……but tonight you let me down big time my family of 5 was let down! We ordered a large cheese pizza and it was awful! Where was the sauce?? See the pic of what our pizza looked like. It’s just one piece that I took out the box but it all looked the same unfortunately! Sad day for us because we have loved this place for years

My husband and I stopped in for lunch and decided on a medium-sized pizza with the toppings of our choice. It was a busy lunch hour, offering up single slices of pizza (which are HUGE) with a marinara sauce.
We opted for the white sauce (ricotta, mozzarella, and herbs) it was divine!!
The garlic dipping sauce is a must! We ordered extras to take home.
One of the best little pizza places this side of Spartanburg! We will be back to explore more of the menu, the kindness of the staff, and the delicious offerings they bring to the table! You’ll have to find out for yourself!

Instead of leaving a very bad review for a newer pizza place in Spartanburg that we just visited, I decided to leave a positive review for THE BEST pizza place in Spartanburg! The new owners at Venus Pie have it all figured out! The pizza is still amazing. Always perfect and not burnt. The atmosphere is what a pizza place is supposed to be like… Cool and comfortable. It’s cleaner than it used to be and they’re much quicker than they used to be. You can sit down at a table and order with a wonderful and knowledgeable wait staff. They have wonderful beer & wine options. And you don’t have to clean up your own table. And there’s a cool new arcade. Still the best and the only pizza place we would recommend in Spartanburg! Don’t waste a lot of your hard earned money trying anywhere else!

In this house we LOVE Venus Pie! We are always greeted with friendly faces and the service and food has never been anything but wonderful! My kiddos love the giant slices – I’ll never forget the first time they had one set down in front of them. They didn’t believe me when I said you only need to order one slice – they are big eaters. We don’t always have time to stop in though, so I love that we can order online or over the phone and bring our pies home! My only complaint is that the large boxes don’t fit in the fridge!

Venus Pie Pizzeria is hands down the best pizza in the Spartanburg area with a great beer selection and they even have an arcade room making it a great place to bring kids.
They don’t offer much outside the arena of pizza aside from a couple of salads, so if you have members in your group that are chicken fingers and fries only kinda people, this wouldn’t be the best option for you.
A+ pizza, a stellar staff and a great place to hang out, so if you haven’t given Venus Pie a try yet, what are you waiting for?

Well, this was my second visit here in the last decade, and it was as incredible as I remember it. Wonderful service. Wonderful atmosphere. Shout out to my sister and husband for treating us… my parents will be so surprised when we deliver them an 18 inch cheese pizza back home to chattanooga today!

We had a great lunch with family from out of town. Our server, Lisa, was fantastic. She totally understood our quirky requests. Especially when my grandson wouldn’t eat his pepperoni pie unless he could see the pepperoni slices. She went to the kitchen and got extra pepperoni to add so he would eat. Thanks for great service! And the salad and slices were very generous portions. Will definitely go back!
