I used to love this place and was excited to order again. I always get the chicken souvlaki. This time, much to my disappointment, the chicken was not grilled and in one piece, but rather chopped up (ground?), with a pale orange color that was none to inviting. The service was good, they give you ample portions, and they have a fantastic garlic sauce but IMO that’s not enough to keep me going back. My order is going in the trash 🙁

I’ve had Venus many times during our food truck season for work. The food is always amazing, the service is always great. All around a pleasant experience every time! Though I’ve never been to the actual restaurant, if I’m ever in the area, I will definitely stop for some food! The portions are always big and lasts me a few days for my lunches. Highly recommend

Oh my GAWD!! This place is unbelievable!! Closest I’ve had to Samis in Arouca. They could do better on amount of tomatoes and the wrapping so that everything is distributed. But as good as it tastes, I’ll put it all together again! Also if you get the Gyro don’t get Regular, not a lot of meat and too much lettuce. Garlic sauce dip is to die for

I just had a major problem with a different location with an online order being totally incorrect. The guys at this location completely took over the problem and went to bat for me. They got me a full refund plus kept me updated on every thing they did via calls and text. What a fantastic bunch of employees here at this location!!!

I ordered takeout from this restaurant and it was the worst Mediterranean food I’ve ever had. Everything was a bland pile of mush. The combo platter was a combination of some kind of shredded meat, but there was no way to distinguish the chicken from the gyro. The white sauce smothering everything was tasteless, including the extremely mediocre frozen fries. Also, I woke up sick in the middle of the night after eating the food. Do not order from here.
Update in response to the owner: Not true! I moved the food to a plate to reheat it because it was cold upon arrival. No mushing! You still did not address the quality of the meat or where it comes from/ why it does not look like chicken or gyro from any other mediterranean restaurant. The food may have been made to order, but it does not taste good (it had almost no taste at all) and does not live up to the standards of even the most basic local restaurants. No one paid me to write this review.

This place was great I met the owner personally treated me like family the food was so great me and my wife got the lunch special two chicken gyro wraps with a side of fried everything tasted amazing I will be back soon 10/10 experience ❤️
