The location of this restaurant is outstanding with the endless ocean views are mesmerising ! Came for a team dinner, had a reservation so got a table at the back window by the deck overlooking the water. Our server was very friendly and the food was excellent! We had almost everything on the menu but the shrimp cocktail and coconut halibut was just spectacular. Enjoyed the desserts with a sunset by the ocean.

Can’t beat the view here at VG! We started with cocktails, the jalapeno margarita, and coconut mojito were both tasty. For some reason, the wine by the glass selection seems small. The ceviche was fantastic as a starter. The guest who had the fish tacos said they needed salt, and she is not a person who cooks with salt, so that meant something to me. The quesabirria tacos were good but not great. Finally, the flavor on the green chile enchiladas was perfect. I wouldn’t turn down a return visit, but also, I wouldn’t just make a trip to Pismo to have Ventana Grill.

My boyfriend and I had a great dinner experience here! My server Maddy was on top of everything , we got a sunset view and the food was amazing very generous portions! And tortillas were hand-made which topped this off for me! Will be coming back 🙂

We ate here on our wedding night and then again on our 1st wedding anniversary. Food is amazing and the view is breathtaking. Bar tenders are friendly and quick, and servers are super on top of taking care of guests’ needs. I had the Seafood Penne Pasta, and my husband had the Steak and Shrimp Molcajete. Definitely try the Smoke on the Water cocktail. It’s the best!! Nottoway mention the hand made tortillas and salsas!! I wanted to take a bowl of all 3 home! Best I’ve had outside a taco truck.

I admit, I was skeptical. Despite all the great reviews, we drove 2 1/2 hours to eat here and I wasn’t sure that it would live up to our expectation. But Ventana’s seriously delivered. We had chips & guac for an appetizer followed by the Steak & Shrimp Molcajete, fish tacos, clam chowder, and deep fried ice cream for dessert, all top notch. But it was the clams that was worth every mile. Simply, richly, deeply satisfying. The cheese toast tasted freshly made. The shrimp in the Molcajete were slightly overdone but I beg you not to hold that against them. Another highlight was the Coconut Mojito. Outside of Cuba, I have never had a mojito worth mentioning. Until today. Well done Ventana’s.

We typically visit the same places when we are in Pismo, but decided to try something different. My husband and I went for lunch and enjoyed it so much we went back the next day to try different dishes. The service was great and the food was delicious. Ventana Grill is now a must have when we are in the area! I look forward to taking the rest of the family.

Food was Ok, not awesome. Our server was not very good. The guy playing music was good but so loud I had to complain to the manager who was very nice and had him turn it down. We came to eat and talk not experience his concert.
