Update: June 24, 2024 – They fixed the potholes in the parking lot. The restaurant order and pick uo experience remains the same. They don’t have an established order of which customers to serve 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc. Basically the more important you look, the better service you’ll receive

Finally a decent Haitian restaurant in the area that I will be back too. This is was recommended by Haitian Mami I know and I’m glad I asked if she knew of any good Haitian restaurants in the area. I ordered the fried chicken complete and my coworker ordered the stew chicken. Everything was flavorful and tasted fresh. The portions are HUGE I never been to a Haitian restaurant that served this much meat rice plantains and macaroni and cheese. The macaroni was warm Haitian macaroni and cheese which I prefer instead of the cold salad other places try to offer you. The only thing that I didn’t really like the taste of was the pickled onions, I’ve tasted better elsewhere. We will definitely be back and hopefully the legumes will be ready because we wanted to try that as well but they just opened up and started cooking so I can understand if everything on the menu is not quite ready. Service was meh, there was an older woman who came in towards me receiving my food and was very courteous.

Finally, I’m here to write about this Caribbean discovery I’ve made. I meant to post better pics, but I was too ready to eat this meal. Customer service had improved for sure.
That said, this place is a gem in the neighborhood. It offers authentic Haitian food. My favorite dish from there is the Legume, it is made with veggies and stewed beef, no pork. It’s hard to find a Haitian restaurant that does not add pork and crab to their legumes and spinach. I’ve also had the stewed okra made with stewed beef, so yummy. The staff is well mannered and dressed in uniform. I notice they are always cleaning, which answer why their dining space is so inviting.

I have been ordering there for over 10 years and I am done with them.
This restaurant is inconsistent with the food taste and the quality of service; it’s a hit and miss depending of their days. Multiple deliveries orders got delivered with the wrong food, where I had to drive back and get my actual order. Even when I put notes not to give me fat in my griyo and no macaroni, I call after placing the order to confirm my order, they still sent it how ever they feel like sending it. If you want to waste your money and not eat what you ordered feel free ordering.
