The food is real Italian flavors. Service very good and friendly. The place looks clean. We ordered the fried calamari to share. I ordered the lunch meal shrimps w/ linguini on lemon sauce. It was just delicious and good portion. Husbands ordered the meats pizza (real oven pizza) perfectly baked. They give complementary bread which was so freshly baked and delicious. It also has a little private area for about 20 people gathering and a large bar with TVs. I recommend this restaurant hands down.

We had an incredible experience at Venezia Trattoria. The calamari appetizer was perfectly cooked—tender, flavorful, and paired with a marinara sauce that was absolutely delicious. The lobster ravioli was packed with real lobster and had such a rich, wonderful taste. The fettuccine was also outstanding, with a generous portion that didn’t sacrifice quality for quantity.
For dessert, the vanilla crème brûlée was hands-down the best I’ve ever had—smooth, creamy, and perfectly caramelized on top.
Service was impeccable from start to finish. Everyone we interacted with was warm, attentive, and genuinely made our meal feel special. This is definitely going to be one our favorites.

Our McKinney Newcomers Couples Dining Out group had another flawless experience at Venezia Trattoria this week (Feb 5, 2026). From the initial reservation and confirmation to our final bites, the entire process was incredibly smooth.
Accommodating a group of our size (40) is no small feat, but the staff handled it with grace and efficiency. The service was excellent, and the food was truly bellissimo! We had several first-time diners with us, and they were all rave reviews across the board.
Since our Newcomers groups have dined here multiple times, we’ve come to expect “perfection,” and they delivered once again. Thank you, Venezia Trattoria, for always making our experiences top-notch. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend.

Highly recommend Venezia Trattoria! We have been several times and the food is always good, our son with a gluten/egg/soy allergy can actually eat 2 things on the menu, and the atmosphere is beautiful. The customer service is always wonderful too. Day or night – perfect place!

Venezia Trattoria is the hidden gem of North Dallas located in McKinney. My husband and I returned last night to visit after our 1st visit. It was so amazing after our 1st visit, we asked the manager Tony if they would cater my son’s wedding last October. . Tony took his time to visit my son, his fiance and the wedding coordinator at the venue to organize everything. I asked them to handle everything from plates, silverware, salads, appetizers and food.
The Wedding was in October and I am still recovering from a year of wedding planning.
Everything was PERFECT! All of our guests couldn’t believe how great the food was and Tony and the restaurant servers didn’t miss a beat. I can’t Thank them enough for helping me make my son’s wedding something that I will never forget.
Excellent food! Excellent service! You must go give them a try. If you want true itialian food, this is the place for you!

I love that they have tinted windows and it’s not glaring bright inside. My only complaint about my visit is the chairs are a little uncomfortable.
The food and service were excellent. We had some tap beer, mozz sticks, and the fettuccini alfredo with chicken. They came with salad and the plates were chilled and it was a nice way to start the meal.
The mozz sticks weren’t special, but the alfredo was made with love and was very creamy and delicate. The noodles didn’t look hand made but they weren’t bad and were better than what you get at olive garden. The chicken was also cooked well and not too dry.
Their lemoncello cake is also great. I look forward to going back. There was no wait to get in and we were served immediately.

Ordered the calamari, lasagna, and fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. The calamari was a bit bland. The lasagna was very good. Personally, I like a sweeter sauce. Their sauce is between savory and sweet. The fettuccine Alfredo sauce was very creamy. I really liked it. The chicken had a bit of a gas flavor. The restaurant is really nice looking. The seats were very uncomfortable. Our waitress was great. I had a small issue with our table, and she quickly took care of it. The restaurant quickly filled up, but she still came to our table regularly. Next visit, I’ll be asking for a booth.

This place is beautiful, very aesthetically pleasing. The staff is phenomenal! They’re so polite, very respectable. They understand what top notch service is. Ive got to mostly praise to the chef, they didnt have Florentine on the menu but he made it anyway espresso creme brulee was a great desert to top it off. Also please get a glass of Brachetto sweet red tastes amazing
