From the small snack to stimulate your pallet to folding your napkin when you get up and making sure the bathroom is always like you’re the first to use it- they don’t miss a beat. I love the gnocchi and the wine selection is incredible. One con is the last time we were there, the steak was very bland and tough.

Simply a great overall experience. Dining here felt like visiting an old friend in Italy. The food was absolutely incredible. Each dish and every flavor was on point. My wife and I had several courses of gnocchi, polenta, and Spaghetti, finished with the Black Angus sirloin and tomahawk ribeye. The piedmontese tomahawk was simply the best steak I’ve ever had: cooked perfectly and presented with a small dish of salt on the side as all good steaks should. The service was impeccable and really contributed to the experience. The atmosphere was cozy and personable. Highly recommended. The next time I visit, I’ll be enjoying the full tasting menu selection.

I forgot to post a review after my dinner here for Christmas Eve! The service, atmosphere, and food was impeccable! We were greeted warmly upon entry. The palate starter was delicious and got us ready for our meal. Our server was polite and friendly. The sommelier assisted us with wine pairings and was forthright with me about their white wines all having a dry finish. (I am a dessert wine lover) The staff were even so kind as to help my wife’s mother out to the car amidst the snow and ice. We really appreciated the hospitality that was shown to us.

An oasis that brought us back to the Italian flavors and tastes, real and authentic!! Marco selects his products meticulously with great expertise and each dish is studied carefully. The wine list is almost unlimited. By two Italians on the road. Fully recommended!

Amazing experience! From the moment we sat down, we were impressed by the nice quiet atmosphere, the professionalism of the staff, and our server’s knowledge of the menu. They have an impressive wine list and our selection did not disappoint. To start, we shared the gnocchi. Outstanding. My wife had the filet, which she very much enjoyed. I had the ravioli which was also delicious. If you’re in Salt Lake City this place is a must!

A lovely atmosphere, amazing Gnocchi, and I love the included tip practice, but same/better quality Italian food is available in Salt Lake for much less. One area of note, though they will substitute gluten free Penne for certain dishes, they don’t adjust the recipe very well, and I would steer others with an allergy to order off the already gluten free options. Order liberally, as all plates are quite small. That said, the food is very good, the staff are cordial, and the location is quiet and intimate.

Super disappointed with my visit here. I came to celebrate my future husband’s 30th birthday. I had been emailing the owner since we had planned to come eat here for my wedding with my family. I wanted to try the food first, and I am very glad that I did.

My wife and I had dinner at Veneto for the first time recently. Overall the experience was nice. The staff were fantastic, the restaurant and atmosphere were lovely, and the food was good. Some items were better than others. We had a special bottle of wine we wanted to bring with us and enjoy with our dinner, but we noticed on the restaurant’s website they have a $75 corkage fee, which seems excessive. Veneto has a huge wine list that they are obviously very proud of, so we left our bottle home and ordered a bottle with dinner, which is obviously the intent behind such a high corkage fee. We spent $110 on a bottle that was disappointing in the end. The excessive corkage fee left a sour taste in our mouths. It shouldn’t be so expensive to enjoy a nice bottle of wine with dinner.

I’ve been here a few times over a couple years. This competes both as the best restaurant in the State and most expensive. This is truly Italy in Utah. The ingredients are flawless. The cooking has always been flawless, and the service excellent. They understand how to read the table and adjust the pacing appropriately.
