One thing NWA doesn’t lack is good Italian food.

Mozzarella sticks and Lasagna, both good and delicious.

The standout feature here is the bread/rolls. You get honey with them. I know some breakfast places will have honey for biscuits but you often have to ask for it. Ive never been given honey for rolls, especially at an Italian restaurant before. That was new for me.

We stumbled upon this place completely by accident, and wow—what a happy surprise! This little hole-in-the-wall is truly a hidden gem. From the moment we walked in, it felt like stepping back in time. The building itself still holds its original character from 1947, and the fact that it has remained in the same family for generations speaks volumes about the pride and care poured into it.

The staff could not have been more welcoming. Our waitress was not only attentive and friendly, but also knowledgeable about the history of the restaurant and the menu, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I also had the chance to chat with one of the owners, and it was refreshing to see a hands-on manager working side by side with the team. That kind of leadership really shows in the atmosphere and service.

And then there’s the food—absolutely exceptional! Every bite tasted homemade, comforting, and prepared with real passion. It’s the kind of place that reminds you how good food and genuine hospitality can turn an ordinary meal into a lasting memory.

We left full, happy, and already talking about our next visit. Without a doubt, when we’re back in the area, this will be one of our first stops. Highly recommended for anyone who loves great food, friendly service, and a place with true history and heart.

There is a very good reason this place has been here since 1947…….fantastic food. My wife and I went there on Saturday for lunch and had a fantastic meal. Our server Allison was on point, and made sure the experience was great. We started things off with the calamari, which was hands down the best I have ever tasted. I ordered the traditional, which was 3 pieces of fried chicken, spaghetti, and a cheese ravioli…..I suspect all the pasta is made in-house, as it was tender and you cannot get pasta that good from a bag. My wife had the build your own, which consisted of fettucine alfredo, lasagna, and spaghetti with meatballs. Hands down, the alfredo stole the show and was creamy and delicious.

Definitely going to go back in the future and try more…..was totally worth it!

We had not been to Venesian Inn in several years, so we decided to give it a try for dinner a few nights ago. It was super yummy and a very enjoyable dinner. We tried several dishes, but especially enjoyed our cannolis that we got for dessert and THE ROLLS! They were so good that we got some to go to eat with dinner throughout the week! All of this to say, if you haven’t tried this or haven’t gone in a while, you should give it a shot!

It was not as fancy as I heard or expected. We tried the chicken parmesan, lasagna, and fettuccine Alfredo. They were ok but we’ve had much better elsewhere. The salad was just plain shredded lettuce with a very strong vinaigrette dressing. The bread was dinner rolls I would expect with a fried chicken dinner. We were disappointed that there was no Italian bread. There was nothing special enough to make it worth the drive to go back, but I would not tell anyone else not to eat there. We’re just used to more authentic Italian food.

Was excited to go back to a place we used to eat often. When they brought our steak out it smelt funny but went ahead and tried it. We ate a couple of bites and couldn’t eat the rest it was rotten. The salad and the hot rolls were good.

Best onion rings I’ve ever had. We loved their manicotti too! I also appreciated how clean the place was, and the fact there was an easily accessible baby changing table in the restroom. We will be back again.

Food and service are always wonderful, I’ve been coming here on and off with my husband for many years. BUT i have been biting my tongue for months about something i’ve been noticing which is the way i hear the employees speaking to each other. we like to sit towards the back of the restaurant and i can’t even keep track of the horrible things i’ve heard! cuss words galore, i even heard someone from the kitchen yell out to one of the girls that she’s a “fat whale” lots of yelling from the cooks at who i can only assume are yelling at the waitresses. the last time we came in we heard a man in the kitchen loudly berating and swearing at someone, and then our server came back with our food flustered and on the verge of tears!! for a family owned business i am shocked and appalled that the owners/managers would allow for such a CLEARLY hostile environment. we love the venesian inn but i don’t know if we can support a restaurant that allows their staff to treat people this way or be treated this way.

This was one of the best overall experience eating out that we’ve had as a family in a long time. The place is very homey and nostalgic. Our waitress was just as sweet as she could be. She took great care of us. The food was amazing! The rolls are top notch. The homemade onion rings were the best I’ve ever had. But, what made the whole night extra memorable was the chocolate peanut butter dessert. OMG! Genuinely delicious!!! Hope they never change a thing, because we are going back. For sure!

We stopped in while in the area on a long weekend vacation. Our family of four ordered a selection of items. Overall the service was a little slow but not unreasonably so. However, for the price we found it to be disappointing.

We had: chicken fettuccine alfredo – very good and a favorite, chicken parmesan – generally well liked, lasagna – mixed reviews, spaghetti – mixed reviews, and fried chicken – very good.

We visited another restaurant the night before and were raving about it to family and recommending they visit. We would not say/do the same here.
