Ok wanted to give that disclosure because it sometimes feels unfair to review Mexican restaurants in Colorado.

Atmosphere- TWO STARS, they had a jewelry table with a lady sitting there in the MIDDLE of the restaurant. She was shoulder to shoulder with me and my family. Ruined the whole dining experience. I’ve never seen that in a Mexican restaurant in my life. You feel pressured to buy jewelry when you’re just trying to eat.

Let’s start with the good – the birria tacos were large. You get your monies worth. The service was wonderful, great staff! Now, The birria broth itself was just ok. The refried beans were clean and decent. Probably good for most of the demographic but, they could have used more lard and smashing. The rice, was ok. Wasn’t bad, but didn’t have a single piece of herb or spice. Just orange. I’m used to pieces of onions and tomatoes, my grandma even put ground beef bits in it, A WHOLE MEAL. ♥️ the horachata drink, which is rice and cinnamon, was watery, not the best.

This place is good for the suburbs.

Venalonzos Tacos in Parker has many things to rave about. Their second location is much larger than the original with vibrant colors, plenty of seating and a large counter to order at. Their salsa bar has plenty of options. My main request is to label the options as most are spicy (I like some spice but can only handle so much) and it’s hard to know what’s what.

I tried the supreme birria pizza to share with a few colleagues. It comes with a side of their consommé. I ordered an extra side for $3.99 and an extra cup so all three people could dip the pizza as they wished.

The pizza is huge at 14″ and topped with a ton of pickled onions, guacamole, cilantro, shredded lettuce, sour cream, pico and jalapenos. Inside is the birria meat and cheese.

The pizza itself is delicious and messy but in the best way. There is a lot of flavor. The consommé is good not great with no pieces of meat in it. It was a bit greasy.

The reason for the four stars is that the employee who gave me my order did not give an extra cup as requested and seemed annoyed when I asked for it. On a previous visit the customer service was excellent. Something that soured my experience. Maybe it will be better next time around.

The parking is shared with other businesses.

The experience overall was fantastic! The customer service was great, our order was taken quickly and accurately. Our food came out in less than 5 minutes. My food was hot both in spice and temperature. It was delicious. I couldn’t give it a 5 because its not the best I have ever had but still well above average. The atmosphere was super light and chill. I will definitely be coming back to eat here!

Great food, fast friendly service. Their menu is very unique and varied. The plates are large. My meal was good for 2 full meals. Prices are not bad considering the amount of food you get.
So close to being a five star except for atmosphere. Not many tables for a small group of 2 or 3. You have tables of 6 so if just 2 of you get looks from others. This place was busy and as soon as we were done people were asking if we were going to be leaving. No sitting and enjoying you feel like you have to wolf your food down.
Their condiment station is well stocked but you have nothing to put your condiments on. The salsa cups are maybe 1/2 a tablespoon. I did not know they came so small.
If you want anything else from there you would have to bring your plate there and that is not sanitary.
They do not have chips and salsa like other Mexican restaurant and we did miss that. Maybe because they are so quick on the food they do not feel the need and want the tables turned.
If you want great food for take out, this is your place. We will not be back for dining in but will most certainly go there for take home food.
Parking is tight so I would recommend going at non peak times.

I’m giving Venalonzo’s three stars because their food is not consistent. There will be days where it’s really good and others will be disappointing. I’ve had better Mexican food else where but always come back for the convenient location. It seems like the birria is their best seller but after ordering the quesadilla and burrito I was disappointed. But how do you mess up a quesadilla? The cheese was unmelted, the birria was bland, and the side of sour cream that came on the plate was like one teaspoon. I got my burrito and it felt like i was biting into all tortilla and no filling. So I opened it, and it was pretty empty. On the good days, it’s pretty decent, but like I said, I’ve had better else where.

Ordered the pork ribs, birria egg rolls, chile relleno plate and a watermelon margarita. The chile relleno was pretty good but the sauce was salty. The egg rolls were pretty good, no complaints. The watermelon flavor for the margarita was bad but the tequila content was solid. Felt pretty expensive for order at the counter and clean up after yourself.

We had the pleasure of attending the soft opening, and I must say, this restaurant serves the best Mexican food in Parker! It was my first time trying the award-winning Quesabirria, while my wife ordered the asada fries. Both dishes were delicious, and the meat was incredibly tender. They also offered some amazing sauces; we especially loved the green one. The service was fantastic. Lana took great care of us and kept us entertained throughout our visit. I can’t wait to return and try more items from the menu. We are very happy customers!

I’m so excited we got a location in Parker! The original location is great, but so small. Here, there’s lots of indoor seating and a big outdoor patio. They’ll be changing the patio windows to be garage door windows soon which will be nice in the evening.

The food is excellent as always and now that I live close by, I can’t wait to tour the entire menu! The salsa bar is great with many options. The bar isn’t quite up and running yet since they just opened, but what a bonus from the original location.

We got there just after 11am on a Saturday, and I thought it was so quiet compared to the original location plus this location just opened this week so I figured people hadn’t heard about it yet. By noon, most seats were filled! Parking is pretty easy, but the lot may fill up at busy times.

Came here at dinner rush because my wife came earlier and really liked the tacos. Ordered and waited about 15 minutes for food. I ordered the reno plate and a birria taco. The reno plate was okay. Nothing wow about it. I probably would not order it again. The birria tacos i might eat again. The wife ordered the Birria Ramen with no onions and ofcourse it came out with onions. So we sent it back and then brought a new one out fast. As my wife is eating the new Ramen she finds more onion in the Ramen. So they basically tried to remove the onion from their original mistake instead of making it the proper way. If you are allergic to something be very careful here! Overall its okay. If I come back it would be only for their tacos. Overall I would not go out of my way to come here but you will get decent tacos.

Truly one of the best places to eat. The food is amazing, the service is incredible, and the people there make you feel so welcome. I even had my birthday party here and they went out of their way to make it special. I’ve honestly become addicted to their tacos — everything is fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food and a great atmosphere!
