The food is EXCELLENT here! My husband had a bowl of their beef stew… it was packed with flavor. I had their burger (I asked to have no cheese on mine). Their burger had this delicious grilled onion flavor that just elevated this burger. The potato buns are made in-house. The french fries were delicious, fried in beef tallow. No seed oils! We also enjoyed their freshly-made juice made from sugar cane and lime. The owner served us & was very welcoming. If you want great food, and encourage the local economy, this is the place to stop. We stopped here on our last day on the island, right before we had to return our rental car. Keep in mind, seating is limited (they share a corner location with a shave ice location)… but still worth the stop.

We loved the burgers and fries here. Reminded us of in and out our but better. Super fresh ingredients smash style burgers (double patty) hot and perfectly seasoned with cremated onions. Make sure you tell them no cheese if you don’t want cheese because they come with cheese automatically. I didn’t know that but the owner was kind enough to redo our order because of the misunderstanding when I called in th order ahead. The price of the fries reflects the quality and you can absolutely tell the difference that it was cooked in beef tallow. If you’re eating paleo try their burger wrapped in lettuce it was delicious and they wrapped it in a way that made it easy to eat like a burger. Very little seating and prepare to wait as it’s a small staff but once you try you’re gonna be hooked. We have a few good burger places but this one absolutely hit all of my checkmarks and the fries sauce was delicious. Extra points for having a fry sauce and adding a little bit of smokiness to it. Thanks for an amazing experience for our last meal in Maui. The burgers were AMAZING and picture perfect. The people here made it extra special. My husband wanted to add that there was something extra special about the bun and the house made sauce was perfect. Our kids loved it too. This was by far one of my favorite burgers ever.

The location is clean and the staff is very friendly! Easy menu and shows a passion for the specialty! Had the original burger and also the grilled cheese burger with some tots. Very crispy edges, fresh bun, house made sauce, very flavorful and not too greasy!
The shop is also next to a great shave I’ve spot I was recommended and was a great sweet treat to end the meal!

One of the best burgers we’ve ever had. We travel full time and never thought we would find some of the best burgers we’ve ever had in Hawaii, but Velzyland is THE PLACE. We visited over 4 times in the month we stayed in Maui and can’t wait to be back. Not only is the food amazing with high quality ingredients but the owners and service each time we visited was phenomenal. Highly recommend!!!!!!!!

We came here bc of all the reviews but the food was not as good as everyone is saying. We ordered a hamburger with onions and one without. We wanted fries but they were out. It took over 20 min. To get our first burgers and then they both had onions. We returned the one and the next burger took just as long and I had to remind them and then the bun was completely burnt. It tasted burnt, no other flavor. They did offer us a free drink bc of the wait. It took 55 min. before getting all of our food; 2 burgers and 1 tater tots. And at the end of our 55 min. I saw folks getting takeout orders with fries. I would not recommend this place of you’re pressed on time for sure. Not impressed.

The owner is awesome. Great to talk to. Helped my son who is in the hospital out and really lifted his spirits.

Super soft bun that doesn’t fall apart (even with a triple patty). The meat has a great flavor and is perfectly cooked. Fries and tots are also great but the Cane Juice is definitely what makes the meal perfect. Give it a try! You’ll be back for sure.
