Had a lovely evening with a friend – Riley had some fantastic weekend specials for us to try – the lavender margarita was unique, beautiful, and delicious! The garnishes were adorable. Cute spacious patio to hang out on – and the pulled pork nachos were SO GOOD! Absolutely recommend for a good low key spot to catch up and have some great drinks.

Just tried this place for the first time tonight and we were all very impressed with our meals and drinks!! I ordered the crab stuffed salmon. Amazing blend of flavors—the spiciness of the seasoning and the chili sauce is perfectly balanced with the creamy sweetness of the crab stuffing. Wish I had more pictures to share of the delicious food and drinks!!

The outside dining patio was really nice with flowers and plants. The drinks were good and the appetizer was good. It was a nice quiet atmosphere that is very relaxing.

Food was incredible! The full filet mignon was the best I’ve ever had at any restaurant in the Madison area, cooked to perfection and the sides were expertly done as well. The spinach artichoke dip was fantastic. Drinks were good, overall a pretty neat hidden gem. It feels like fine dining, but with much better food and less fuss. Will definitely be returning!!!

My wife and I were going out for supper on a Friday evening and found The Hub by accident. We chose to eat outside because of the nice weather, however, the inside dining atmosphere seems to be rather nice.
For appetizers we had some meatballs that were really great! My wife had the Salmon and I went with the two piece Walleye for dinner. Not only was the fish spectacular but who gives credit to mashed potatoes and broccoli? I do! Usually vegetables are not something to brag about, but the seasoning on the broccoli made all the difference! Along with the rest of the meal included a salad, two small pieces of toast, and some coleslaw.
This was a nice find, and worth going back to! The chef brought us our dinner, and the wait staff was pleasant. Sitting out on the back patio was nice and quiet.

We visited ‘The Hub’ for dinner this evening for the first time, and I was immensely impressed. There were two of us, and we opted for the specials; Pan fried walleye with pasta and alfredo, and lobster stuffed salmon. Both meals were incredible, and the service was excellent. Great atmosphere, delicious food, excellent drinks, and decent prices! We will definitely return!

We stopped here for coffee and dessert tonight as we were just driving through Lake Mills, and couldn’t have been happier to discover this wonderful place! Sitting on the nice patio in back in the early summer evening with the white lights overhead, and with excellent coffee and a slice of delectable lime cheesecake between us, we knew we found a place we need to come back to! Friendly service and an impressive menu – looking forward to trying out dinner here sometime soon!

It seemed confusing upon our entrance; the restaurant sign doesn’t say Velveteen anything, I wasn’t sure if our drinks were being made or not, but then, all was right with the world!
I had the salmon wellington which was so perfectly made, I could’ve ordered a permanent IV of it, they had 5(!) Mocktails to choose from & our bruschetta was so good. My sister’s filet was tender & juicy & she loved her lemon drop tini.

Had the most wonderful lunch here today to celebrate my Mom’s birthday! The food was incredible and the lovely girl that took our order made my Mom’s day!! We are really excited to have a great new lunch spot in Lake Mills!
