Fast friendly service and unique taco options. Good no matter which location we visit. Code needed for the restroom. Busy area so that’s understandable. Great for us who like different but non spicy options.

We were uncertain about what to anticipate from this establishment. We are delighted that we decided to visit, as we were welcomed with a warm greeting, and all the menu options are clearly displayed for your consideration. Offering a variety of choices, including tacos, burrito bowls, guacamole, elote, and beverages for both children and adults, everything was simply perfect. We selected two bowls, one being the veggie bowl and the other the steak bowl. Both were exceptionally delicious, meticulously prepared, and made with the freshest ingredients. The combination of flavors was truly remarkable. All the ingredients harmonized beautifully, enhancing the overall experience of the dishes. We also ordered their elote guacamole, and we were pleasantly surprised by how flavorful it was, especially when paired with their purple chips. They distinguish themselves from their competitors through their excellent customer service, fresh food, a clean and well-organized environment, and the most welcoming smiles. Their beers were also enjoyable, whether on tap or bottled, served ice cold for your refreshment. We highly recommend visiting this team of professionals, led by Kai, the manager. The experience was so enjoyable that we will certainly return and recommend this place to our friends and family. This is an excellent place to dine while remaining mindful of one’s budget. The portions are generous, making them ideal for sharing with a friend or loved one. We encourage you to support their business; they certainly deserve it.

I did not like the buffalo chicken taco. It was a little too spicy for me. The other taco I had was a chicken and waffles taco. It was ok. I wouldn’t get it again, but my daughters loved the tacos. I would go back, but get something different. I tried some of my niece’s brisket nachos, those were really good. The queso was also good.

The tacos were both delicious. The Quesa birria pork duo was my preferred option out of the two tacos that I ordered. The brisket taco was slightly dry and overpowering with various seasonings. Overall, good tacos.

First time to a Velvet Taco. The tacos were great. When you first walk in the place seems to be clean. The menus are posted on the wall making it easy to see what to get but hard to decide cuz they all look so good. I went with 4 tacos. They were all unique and delicious. I was stuffed. Decided I better try the red velvet cake, it was delicious as well. The only downside of the whole experience was that the tacos came out on a tray that didn’t have a barrier so the juice from the Tacos was running everywhere. I used the stuff provided to clean up the mess. All in all it was a great experience and I have already recommended to others that they should go try it out. As I’m writing this I’m sitting in the Houston airport and noticed that there is a Velvet Taco location here. Give this place a try!

Decent tacos as a whole. They had creative tacos, but I wish they focused more on the execution and flavor. For example, the buffalo chicken had too much blue cheese, and the buffalo sauce itself tasted sour. The brisket was one of the best for sure.
Overall I’m not sure it’s worth the price for what you get.

Not my first time trying Velvet Taco. I am familiar with the menu. I brought a friend to try food here after midnight. Getting to this Galleria location was fine but leaving is not. I had to drive around 59 to get back to Westheimer.

Baby! Velvet Taco is soo delicious, and the customer service is superb! I enjoyed speaking with their team, and I appreciate that they KNOW their brand and meals.
The restaurant and the restrooms were clean.
The food tasted so fresh as if they handpicked them from the garden. I, most definitely, can wait to dine here again!

First time here but I like that there are many healthy options including a few Veggie tacos. The music and vibe was awesome too and the service was great. He remembered my name and delivered my to go order to my table while I sat here typing this
I did want to add that upgrading to the combo meal wasn’t necessary, although I did. The small portion of rice I got and a soda took the total to over 18. It was fun and I was in a good mood, but I had water with me, and rice at home. But if I just hold to getting the tacos with no combo I’d be happier.

I love velvet taco so much. This is one of the few places that is basically perfect in every way. The food here is some of the tastiest food you can get in all of Houston. They have a huge variety of tacos to choose from. The staff are very cool and helpful. The food always comes out hot, quick, and looking amazing. The music and vibe here are so awesome. One of my all time favorite places to go. Rating 10/10
