This was my first visit at a Velvet Taco. I drove through the taco line and pulled ahead it a marked spot. The person working the window was very helpful & polite. I ordered the steak bowl and it did not disappoint! The avacado creama was on point! I will definitely be back to try other options!

If you want basic tacos, go to Rusty’s. If you’re looking for out of this world, amazing tacos-VELVET TACO is the place to be! This is hands down our favorite taco spot. Greenville Ave & Rockwall-ya’ll rock! Amazing food and staff. It’s never a disappointment. Keep it up!

I was so disappointed in the food here. This location is my go to spot but for some reason last night it was a miss. The presentation was perfect but the fish was soggy and had a raw batter, I was gave a lettuce wrap on one when I did not ask for lettuce. Drinks from the fountain were flat. I don’t like to leave negative reviews but I just wanted it to be known especially when driving far.

I’ve been a regular customer at velvet taco for several years. The tacos are top notch , the customer service is excellent and the atmosphere is very welcoming. The establishment offers a delicious cake on the menu to top off your visit if you have a sweet tooth. I would highly recommend!

A very nice modern restaurant that is part of a chain with multiple locations. We chose the bowls, and they were a very good choice, large enough to fill us up. The plates tasted fresh and the ingredients of good quality.

Tornadoes to Tacos… this place knocked it out of the park!
While traveling to Dallas Love, we had a flight delay due to a tornado that resulted in our group of fifty not getting into the airport until 10:30pm. Right before take off I called Marisol (the manager) and explained our predicament… and asked if she and her staff would put together SIX Party Packs on just two hours notice AND WHEN I SAY THEY CAME THROUGH IN THE CLUTCH I MEAN IT!!!!
Marisol, Armondo, Miguel and the entire night crew rallied to make the trip one we wouldn’t forget! I won’t forget their faces as two large charter buses rolled up in front of their shop. Absolutely priceless!
Our track & field team has never eaten so much food on a bus and all of it was incredible. From the tacos, to the chips, to the SIX cakes we had to split… ALL OF IT WAS UNBELIEVABLE.
I’ll never be able to thank the crew enough for trusting me as I made my phone call from a plane ride away and working so hard to fulfill such a large order in such a short amount of time.
I look forward to future trips back to the Dallas area so I can go out of my way to once again visit this location to show them my appreciation.

Two words come to mine when I think of my experience at Velvet Taco. Those two words would be Good Vibes. From the minute I walked in, it just felt welcoming. It was very clean and the staff was simply amazing. Good service is good however when it’s done with a smile, it simply fabulous. In regards of the food, I was blown away from it as well:)
I had the Elote & Chips, the Beer Battered Cauliflower, the Fish & Chips and the Chicken & Waffle tacos. The Chicken and Waffle taco was my favorite. To sum up my visit, I definitely give Velvet Taco off Greenville Ave 5 Stars
