I got the Nashville hot tofu taco and it didn’t have a lot of heat but was still good. I also got the fried cauliflower taco and that one had more heat than the first. A nice option if you’re looking for meat free options.

Had a good lunch at Velvet Taco in Assembly Food Hall. Got the mexi-Cali shrimp taco and the cauliflower taco that were good. The best item was the queso. It was quick, easy and a decent lunch. Not necessarily the most crowded spots in Assembly Food Hall but worth trying out if you haven’t before and are craving tacos.

Love Velvet Taco but this one was . They were super put out that we were ordering tacos at 9pm. ♀️. Took them 20+ min to make 3 tacos. Then they didn’t tell us there were done so we got to enjoy cold tacos. Won’t come back here.

When I tell you this is the most abysmal service on planet earth, it is not hyperbole. The cashier was so rude and took twenty minutes to make three tacos. When I finally complained he told me, rudely that it has been sitting for 12 mins. I was literally across from the cashier but zero communication,so my taco was stone cold. Seriously, do better!!!

The chips were great. I didn’t like the spice added to my queso. The tacos were okay I really couldn’t enjoy the salmon taco the shell broke before I could eat it.

Tourist trap! Enter at your own risk. Not worth the $17 for two tacos. Food is absolutely horrendous and the service is even worse. The presentation is a little better and the fact there is live music in the food hall makes the experience a solid one star. I ordered one shrimp and one salmon taco. The baby shrimp was seasoned and cooked well. The salmon not so much and it actually had a fishy smell. They loaded the tacos with tomatoes to the point I had to find the protein. There was only a microscopic peace of avocado and both were extremely soggy.

Unique taco creations that are delicious! Our favorite was the Cuban pig. We also tried the Korean fried rice and the chicken and waffle and they were also tasty. Tacos had lots of flavor and were pretty large.
This location is inside the Assembly Food Hall which is like a food court. Lots of seating and the ability to try many different foods all in one spot. Be sure to try a taco here!

Great food and Velvet Taco is nestled in the corner of the food hall so it isn’t as crowded and the other areas. The service was prompt and the buffalo chicken tacos were great!
