My boyfriend and I kinda stumbled upon this gem.. we had the most amazing time!! The owners are so welcoming… my boyfriend doesn’t do well in any public place… but he was completely comfortable and I just really want to express my gratitude for the night. I know that it was not by accident that we ended up at this cute quiet restaurant. The food was perfect, the atmosphere perfect and the hospitality impeccable. Not to mention how inexpensive it was!! Thank you so much for such an amazing night!!

I had a Groupon so I decided to give them a try. I got two shrimp and wings combos, which was supposed to be 6 jumbo fried shrimp 5 jumbo party wings and fries. Jumbo was definitely the wrong adjective for the shrimp and the wings. I give the chicken 3.5/5 because the batter was good but the meat did not taste like it had been marinated, the shrimp 2/5 because they were very salty, the fries 1/5 because they were cold (which makes no sense because the wings and shrimp were hot). The person who took my order was very friendly and personable, but I gave them a 3 for service because it took me 39 minutes to get my food when I was the only person in there other than one other person who already ordered and gotten their food. All in all, it was only worth it because I had a Groupon because 20.99 was not worth it when I can get 3 whole wings, 10 shrimp, fries, and a drink for $13.99 from Sharks.

Velvet Room is a whole vibe. The atmosphere is smooth, laid back, and the music is on point. The food is flavorful, well seasoned, and clearly made with care. Everything from the presentation to the service was on point. It’s the kind of place you go to unwind, eat good food, and actually enjoy the moment. Definitely a spot I’d return to and recommend to anyone looking for good food and a great atmosphere, Velvet Room did not miss!!

The cheff and staff were so friendly. The resturant was clean and the drink I had tasted great and the food was good. I’m glad they opened up in this little plaza it was starting to look empty. I had a great time and im looking forward to going back.
