Had such a fun night at Velvet Lounge! They had an amazing deal — $4 Don Julio Reposado shots and $4 for 5 chicken wings. The wings were actually really good, perfectly seasoned and crispy. We even got a table with no extra cost, which was a nice surprise. The DJ was playing R&B all night, creating the perfect chill but lively vibe. Definitely a great spot to hang out with friends, enjoy good music, and get solid food and drink specials without breaking the bank. I’ll definitely be back!

Came in town and went here with some family. We were charged for something we have no idea and disputed it and didn’t get our money back. The DJ was good everybody had a good time. Would definitely use cash the next time.

Almost a year later, and I finally made it for their happy hour. They have happy hour almost daily, with every night being a different special. I went on a Wednesday night, it was pretty dead, but that didn’t stop us from having a great time. They had three for one drink special, a lot of their food were on happy hour as well. And the DJ was pretty good. I am so mad that I don’t remember our waitresses name because she was definitely good. They also had a free sip and paint last night however we didn’t stay long for that. The food was really good, and the drinks were OK, it gave us the buzz that we needed lol .. I was just so shocked that no one was really trying to take advantage of their happy hour but then again it was also a random Wednesday night so I am assuming it gets packed on the weekends.

IVY and EMILY were outstanding at this beautiful club atmosphere. Ivy served us. She was patient, fast and efficient with our orders during a Tuesday night. Emily was at the front and seated us right away and even came back around to check on us during our stay. Great experience here if you’re looking for a place to sir back and enjoy the R&B, rap music. Loud enough to drown out the worries of the day. Wouldn’t have stopped in if it wasn’t for the kindness and humors of the front door guy, Jude!

This is easily one of my favorite happy hour and chill spots. The food is always good, the drinks is nice, the dj plays a wide range of genres including kompa and dancehall music so it’s entertaining the whole time you’re there. The service is top tier. It gets pretty crowded after 11 so service of course goes by a little slow but you will get serve. After a certain time there is a 2 hour seating arrangement. So it’s kind of good to get out early. Would definitely recommend

I came in by myself the bartender was very dismissive all I wanted was to eat oysters and drink. The bartender at 11:30pm was not hospitable at all to her female guests. She didn’t offer water and she didn’t check on my satisfaction at all. I had 2 men approach me and she did not offer anything. The establishment was not busy at all. She didn’t acknowledge me until I had a male sponsor my tab. Very much so ghetto and disappointing but the food is MAGNIFICENT I will return for the dining experience I hope the service improves!

Avoid this place at all cost for Brunch I went there yesterday for brunch the food was nasty and cold I had to take some Pepto Bismol right after. There were no waffles just nasty toast and cold unsavory chicken wings even the grits were horrible and no Mimosas. Don’t waste yout money there like did. If I didn’t feel better by the next day I definitely would’ve sued them for food poisoning

My first time at Velvet and I loved it! The DJ had the perfect vibe going, and Sabrina made sure my hookah was just right. Even though she was super busy, she still communicated and took care of me — appreciated that! The Jamaican vibes and lime flavor was on point. Thanks for a great night!
