We went to the Velvet Bar twice last week. They have a good selection and some very good special drinks. Sandra is a great bartender and very personable. The charcuterie board we had was very good as well.

I stayed at The Hard Rock for 4 nights to celebrate my birthday in June, and Anthony, the bartender, truly made the trip unforgettable. From the first night, he was welcoming, fun to talk to, and mixed some of the best cocktails I’ve had. He not only remembered my favorite drinks but also recommended a few new ones that quickly became favorites.
What stood out even more was how much he cared about making the experience special. Anthony gave me great food recommendations around the resort, and on the night of my birthday he surprised me by sending an assortment of snacks up to my room. It was such a thoughtful touch that made me feel celebrated and really added to the whole trip.
Anthony goes above and beyond—great drinks, great conversation, and genuinely top-notch service. If you’re at The Hard Rock, or enjoying the universal parks or resort, do yourself a favor and spend some time at the bar with him. He was there the last time we stayed there for my birthday as well. He’s the best.

Cool bar to hang out during your stay at the Hard Rock hotel. DJ has good music playing. Would recommend. They have nice outside seating area as well.

Hands down THE best espresso martini in all of Orlando is found here! Chopin Vodka, SelvaRey Chocolate Rum, Owen’s Nitro Espresso are in perfect harmony for this drink. I always come here for a drink before a show at Hard Rock and it never disappoints. Service is excellent and the light bites are good too. I suggest the charcuterie!

Amazing assortment of drinks to choose from for all palettes.Not an American Gin drinker, but … The “Blueberry Hill” was on point… The Adult Root Beer was great as well…. If they used Cream Soda in it they would have a Hard Butterbeer… Which most of the visitors would PAY for… Highly recommended…. Wifey loves the Velvet Sliders…. Onion Ring Tower does not disappoint!!! We shall be return customer’s!!!

This turned out to be our favorite place and we ended up at The Velvet Bar three nights in a row. The bartenders Ken and Skinny were so friendly and knew just the right cocktails to make us! They have a great food menu and creative cocktails. Super cool vibe with many seating areas and beautiful finishes. Highly recommend !

They say closing on google at 1:30 am. It was 11:45 when we were refused service with plenty of people at the bar still. This among many other things, confusion between lock Box key being our room number and purchasing hundreds of dollars in merchandise at Universal to be sent to our room number stated on our documentation when we check in and The frustration thinking it was going to be sent to a different room because our actual room number was 5100. We received two cards and one of them not working after a very long day of walking at universal having to go back to the check-in desk to reprogram. At these prices people expect higher in service we did not get a cheap room, we got a king suite. Do not recommend. After bar being closed early, the suggested room service. We called in for moscato as advertised on mini bar as 750ml was argued by room service is only per glass for 35$ plus 22% Gratuity and a 3$ service charge. I will mention that the valet service went above and Beyond to accommodate our services. I left a few things in the vehicle and he was more than willing to run to the truck to get what we needed without bringing the vehicle up to the front. For the merchandise confusion that we purchased at Universal we were told to contact customer support which we have not yet done.
