Reviews
The interior of the restaurant is quite small and the atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired. The person who took our order was unfriendly, snatching the menu out of my hands. Then as they were rearranging the dining room for other guests, they dragged the tables and chairs across the floor so loudly I couldn’t hear my date.
But more importantly, the food was honestly lackluster especially for what they charge. We ordered the spring rolls, the Thai fish slice with vegetables, and the mapo tofu. The spring rolls were decent and large but full of mostly cabbage. The mapo tofu was full of peas and the sauce was quite bland. The fish dish was a bit better but still a lot to be desired.
I would not return, given the abundance of delicious vegan options in the Bay Area. Go elsewhere.
Highly recommended.
I took the noodles right back and the lady told me that’s a first complaint and she doesn’t believe it and will not be refunding my money. As I look around the place looks absolutely disgusting. I will never come here again and you shouldn’t either. She didn’t care my little toddler could’ve eaten and or poked herself with this stick. That clearly looked like it was saturated with noodles oil.
The service was beyond expectation, fast and friendly. Hot tea was the perfect temp and prep. The homemade chili oil was flavorful and herbaceous. One of the best I have ever had and they sell it by the jar.
Food was amazing;
Hot&sour soup was delicious and an amazing value.
Potstickers were generous in size and bursting with perfectly balanced flavors.
The Braised tofu and greens was, no exaggeration, impeccably cooked mushrooms and baby boc choy, with expert execution on the tofu in a savory sauce that was in the exact consistency.
I am grateful to have been able to share the flavors in such a professional meal.
Many thanks!
This is a must travel to location.
1. Salt and Pepper mushrooms
2. Salt and Pepper pumpkin
3. Mixed vegetables and pan fried noodles.
Not to be missed hot oil…homemade.
We are looking forward to our next visit to enjoy what our eyes drank in from other tables like Sichuan beef broccoli.
Although we had two deep fried dishes both had distinct flavor profiles.
Soda was $4.50 with tax being 10%.
