The flavoring, texture and quality of the food, for my first time visit is well worth the five stars. How they’ve accomplished a menu of this caliber that’s vegan, is still beyond me.
“How Sway?”
Very welcoming ambience with an immediate good vibes feel. Don’t rob yourself of a pleasant customer service experience and smooth music grooves. Dine in.
I had the drummetes and loved them. In comparison to other places which prepared “wings” . . . . Vegans Are Us – Drummetes were/are top notch. I also had the ultimate beast mac & cheese burger with sweet potato fries.
Compliments to the chef on everything.
I ended my meal with a cup of black tea and was pleasantly surprised and appreciative of the larger than usual tea cup.
I will DEFINITELY return.
The staff was very friendly and cordial.
You can check out the menu in the pictures I have.
Charged almost $15 for falafel that was marked $10.99
Told her that her prices were 40% more than advertised on her menu and she rudely stated that everything was higher! She should change her menu prices or let people know up front !
Falafel was not good
Where is the green that belongs in it?
When I asked they said it was homemade.. IDK about that
Wilted lettuce served zero purpose
Was not happy with the fries either
I’m from DC so I’ve visited tons of vegan restaurants across the DMV and east coast, but Vegans Are Us is now at the TOP of my list!
I ordered for the first time through Grub Hub last night and had the bbq jackfruit sandwich w/waffle fries. My sandwich was sooo flavorful, & cooked perfectly! Plus, the portion size was great.
So, I decided to go visit the restaurant to dine in today and ordered the french toast & home fries. The french toast was DELICIOUS If you are contemplating, please try it. I couldn’t believe it was vegan. I was speechless after taking my first bite. Then, when I bit into the home fries – that deliciousness touched my soul! They were similar to grandma’s fried potatoes & onions I ate as a child. Sooo good.
The lady at the front was very courteous. The chef was right there towards the middle cooking, which I thought was dope, to be able to see him there cooking the food.
The dining area is very small and quaint. It’s a whole vibe. The music was on point!
So, I decided to order food to go and that’s when I ordered the shrimp po boy. I felt like I was in New Orleans because it was so flavorful. It’s a little spicy, and all of the flavors with the shrimp & chipotle mayo sauce tastes so good. I’m blown away because in the past 24 hours I’ve had 3 different meals from this restaurant and ALL of them were delicious. I ate them too fast to remember to snap pics of everything lol.
I’ll definitely be back to AC for more. We need your restaurant in the DMV area please.
All types of soul food available; I chose the Buffalo Vegan Chicken Burger with Fries and Ranch Sauce on the side. Finger licking good! Can’t wait to come back and try some other stuff on the menu.
Need this place in Philly.
