He did it AGAIN The Owner of (Veganized a block over)created an even more beautifully brilliant second artistic dine-in experience!
I’ve already visited a handful of times & every time is like the first time. This location is open past 9:00pm(rare for NJ) & has a downstairs experience that offers even more decor delights & special live music/entertainment!
So picture this, you enter the establishment, you’re greeted as if you’re someone of importance because that’s how the staff treats everyone. You sit, indulge in dangerously delicious pizza, sip on a beverage, you treat yourself to some guilt free savory desserts (clearly made with Love). Oh but you’re not finish, because you head downstairs to a VIP-ish speakeasy lounge that is as equally beautiful, as upstairs. There, you’ll sit at the bar for handcrafted specialty drinks
or on any one of the colorfully comfy couches and experience some acoustic sounds of jazz by local or national talent. The vibes are that of a movie but real life! If you haven’t had the pleasure, I implore you to treat you, your friends & family..cause you’re gonna LOVE it like Me!!

Currently it’s under soft opening. It’s a vegan pizza and bar. It locates at the old Court Tavern. Inside was completely redone and the place was gorgeous.

However, it’s very pricey. We had two pizzas and a glass of sangria and the bill was $64 before tax and tips. Each pizza was $24 and the drink was $16.

The staff was friendly but there’s still room for improvements.

During my visit, I experience good customer service; employees are helpful and kind. The eatery, at the time, in April, does not have all the options available on the menu. My order is decent, I find the bread tasty, I like flavorful bread. The sauce mixing with the greens adds a subtle tinge of flavor, not overwhelming the flavor of the bread. I find the pizza filling. I feel like the price-portion ratio of the pizza may be different (same amount to eat, lower price—or more to eat, same price). The water is ice-cube-worth-being-eatable refreshing. The interior decorating is somewhat like a fusion between parameters of the carnivalesque and medieval. The establishment takes different forms of payments.

Pizzas are fire!!! The crust goes cray. My favorite pizza is the Philly which is a sweet and savory pie. Coffee cake is baked to perfection. Cookies are top tier! SPLAT sandwich was exactly what I needed. Also perfect study spot with soooo many outlets

This place is awesome. I love the vibe of this place, from the artwork and decor to the awesome welcoming personalties of the staff. The food is very good. We had a nice interesting conversation with the owner of the place who informed us that everything is organic and made there from scratch by them … an all vegan restaurant, organic, made from scratch, can’t beat that!

Recommend checking out the downstairs bar lounge area as well!

I visited Veganica this past weekend when I was in town. It was amazing! Such a cool place. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The food was truly delicious. My favorites were the mushroom nuggets and the Gravy Baby Pizza. I wish I could’ve tried everything on the menu! They had a nice selection of sweet treats, too. Wish I lived closer but can’t wait to visit again!

I may even love Veganica more than its sister Veganized, which is saying a lot. The Squash-it & Breakfast pizzas are As are the mushroom apps. Drinks are also top notch, particularly the Old Fashion. They only use the freshest, organic ingredients, everything is made from scratch & you can taste difference. That makes is a bit pricier, & can sometimes be a bit of a slower wait to get what you ordered to the table, but so worth it.
Can not say enough good things about how cool and eclectic the art & vibe are, & how friendly the staff are.
I hope that they continue to do well as I want this place to be around for a while!!

Stopped in today for lunch, and it was awesome! I never really loved the pizza at sister restaurant Veganized (although I do like their other menu items); however, the pizza here is amazing, 5 STARS, and I can’t wait to come back and try more of them (had the Margherita today)! We also got a tour of the basement speakeasy, which we will check out one day for sure.
PS: Apple pie and cookies for dessert–also 5 stars!
