Vegan Pastry Lab is a 100% vegan and plant-based bakery. They bake anything from scones to cupcakes and make a delicious banana pudding. Celebration cakes can be ordered in advance. If you’re hungry for some food, a small sandwich menu is available. In addition, customers can also shop for other items such as plants, candles, and other snacks in their retail section – which is also 100% vegan, plant-based and cruelty-free. Plenty of on street parking is available with free 15 minute spaces on the left side of S. Dean Street.

So delicious, great variety of baked goods, amazing service! I have nut allergies that can make already-limited vegan options even more limited for me, but most of the goods do not have nuts! Also the ambience is very chill, with some lovely outside seating out back above a stream! We are an hour away and will definitely be back! ❤️

We absolutely love this vegan bakery! Everything from the atmosphere to the food is exceptional. As a parent of a child with severe dairy allergies, finding a place where we can truly relax and enjoy a treat together is rare — but this bakery made it possible. All their products are 100% vegan, and you can tell how much care and attention go into every single item. The staff is incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and the menu is impressive, which gives me so much peace of mind. My kid is always thrilled to finally be able to pick anything from the display without worry, and everything we get is absolutely delicious.

Amazing selection of gf and vegan goodies and sandwiches! The owner chris is incredibly kind and attentive and warm. We felt so cared for. My parents who arent vegan loved it. They didnt understand it was vegan the whole time? But loved it! Donuts and goodies made fresh on site. You can smell it as soon as you drive past! Much love and support for their hard work and goodness!!! Also chai latte!!

Phenomenal! Not only is the owner’s chocolate chip cookies (both regular and GF) and brownies DELICIOUS, but HONEY – her candles are out of this world!! I am absolutely IN LOVE with my ‘Dark Rose’ candle. I light it in my home office, sip some hot tea, and decompress after a long day at work.

Discovered this beautiful vegan shop while staying at a hotel nearby during a visit to NY. We always love finding good vegan options when visiting places. This, by far, may be one of my favorite vegan bakeries. Though we only were able to get 3 items off their selections to try for today given we had breakfast already, they were all really yummy. Right amount of sweetness and textures were also great. We plan to return a couple more times to try more items.

We got to try the the pb jam bar and the cinnamon sugar donut. Both were delicious! I’d recommend the bar to any pb&j lover and the cinnamon sugar donut was so fluffy and addictive. I could devour a whole box of them! I will definitely be coming back to try their sandwiches:)

Ordered a last minute cake for my daughter who turned 17 and is vegan. Although cakes have to be ordered 3 days in advance they fulfilled my order (I called 1 day prior). The cake was DELICIOUS!!!! I took the suggestion from someone else in a review and ordered the carrot cake with cheesecake filling and coconut flakes. It was so good. My family isn’t vegan, just my daughter and we ALL enjoyed the cake. We also got some banana pudding and a passion fruit donut. Everything was so good.

beautiful little shop! i have been anticipating the opening of this place. joe behind the counter was very kind and took time to answer all questions and engage in friendly chit chat. he told me all about the products/services that they currently offer as well as what they plan on offering in the future.
he recommended that the first thing to try would definitely be cinnamon rolls. he knew what he was talking about! these must be their specialty. it was warm and fresh. i also purchased a brownie as per his recommendation. everything looked so delicious and the presentation was wonderful. all of the desserts were very big, so it’s perfect for sharing with your pals.
you definitely don’t have to be vegan to enjoy their desserts. give it a go!
