Born and raised in STL, lived out west in Oregon, Washington, and Northern California for years, came home to visit…. Ordered the meatball sandwich for now, the Boston Beef for later.
This food is impeccably delicious. Truly faux options for some of the most heavily meat-based options out there, are simply incredible. This place wouldn’t hold it’s own in a place like Portland, Oregon… It would be a dominant player.
Coming back home for family business, it is just so refreshing to see something this progressive, and this delicious, here in The Lou.

Amazing vegan Banh Mi… like SO good! I don’t eat exclusively vegan and this sandwich holds up under all circumstances and contexts. Also got their soup of the day and it was also delish!

I finally had the chance to try out this place! They often sell out fast, so it’s a good idea to keep an eye on their social media pages for updates throughout the day and to arrive early. When I visited on Friday, about an hour after they opened, there was only one other couple there. Despite having many options, I didn’t feel rushed and took about 3 minutes to decide what I wanted. The staff were super nice and helpful. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak, and my husband got the Italian cold cut. Both sandwiches were delicious! They also offer chips and drinks if you want to make it a meal. I also tried their chocolate chip cookie, and it was incredibly soft – it’s so hard to find soft vegan cookies, and this one was perfect! I’ve finally found my go-to place for sandwiches and cookies. We spent about $30 for two sandwiches, chips, and a cookie. Each of our sandwiches was $13. You can check out their menu on their website for other item prices. There is some parking in the front, so we parked there. You should definitely give this place a try – you won’t regret it!

My favorite vegan place in St. Louis Yet this place is amazing like a deli. For vegans, it’s like heaven on Earth literally even if you’re not vegan I Highly suggest you try this place. Five stars I had the special of the day which was a massive meatball and spaghetti sub I could only eat half of it. It also reheated amazingly which was a plus because I live an hour away. I’m also allergic to almonds walnuts and a few other things and the people were so kind in accommodating all of my questions. I was told they have a special sandwich regularly, last week it was the big Mac and it tasted just like a big Mac. Wow marconi bakery bread is Amazing, you can tell a lot of heart and love goes into this food!!!! ❤️

What a great experience! I had the cheese sandwich and it was spectacular. Full of flavor and very fresh. Thankful for the owners recommended it. Soup wonderful! Mac and Cheese excellent! Smore cookie was awesome. I am not vegan, but I will definitely be going back.
Next thing I will try is the Philly Cheesecake, Lobster Roll and Cold Cut. Can’t wait!
