Great stop for me on my way through Sacramento. I got the kung pao chicken for dine in and then chicken chow mein to go. Both were very good and had all the flavors I’d expect from good Chinese food.
The Thai iced tea boba was good.
The chicken chow mein sat for about 5 hours and was still some of the best chow mein I’ve ever had.
I’d definitely recommend this place. Service was good, quick, polite and friendly.

Five stars all around!
If looking for great vegan food downtown Sacramento this is the spot! I’m not vegan but visited with a vegan eater. The vegan loved it but I (the non-vegan who was a bit skeptical to eat all vegan) also loved it! I was so surprised how amazing everything we tried was! We’ll be back again very soon to try other dishes.
It’s also very reasonably priced in addition to being delicious. Not a fancy place. You order at the counter and they bring the food to the table.

Vegan Deadly Sins is absolutely phenomenal! The food is packed with bold flavor, creativity, and pure comfort. Every dish tastes indulgent while still being 100% plant-based — you truly don’t feel like you’re missing a thing.
The presentation is beautiful, the portions are generous, and the quality is consistently outstanding. Whether you’re vegan or not, this place will impress you.
The atmosphere is welcoming and vibrant, and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they serve. This is hands down a five-star experience and a must-visit spot for incredible vegan food!

The food was amazing. The fried pumpkin was perfectly salted and spiced. The satay eggplant and tofu was delicately sautéed with a subtle peanut flavor. The spicy wontons were not very spicy but the sauce was on point. There was a small mixup in the Boba order but they fixed it quickly and the Beam Purple Peach tea turned out to be so good my daughter tucked it down before I could even get a taste. Kids love purple!!

Great service, the staff were friendly. The restaurant was a little run down, meaning that decor was a little outdated and dining tables looked old. I don’t usually eat fake meat so I ordered items with “chicken” and “beef”, rather than purely vegetable dishes or items with tofu. The flavor of the food itself was average, nothing outstanding that would have me rave. There was a LOT of food in one order, however so definitely bring your appetite when you come here. The texture of the “meat” was pretty close to the real thing. To me, this is a place I would stop at if I was hungry, I didn’t want to cook and I had food restrictions. This place gets the job done. Oh, I also ordered a milk tea and the boba tasted fresh! I always appreciate when the tapioca is good.

We had a nice meal. This was my second time visiting. A bit more salt in the food. We ordered a string bean and tofu, a pork w vegetables and a fried taro appetizer. It was all good.

I recently discovered this place and I was really looking forward to going. I’m not a vegetarian, but if Veggie Today (a superb vegan restaurant in downtown Concord across from Brendan Theater) ever opened a location in Sac, I definitely would become a vegetarian.
This place looked promising, with an extensive menu, and everything looks delicious. But looks can definitely be deceiving. I was SO disappointed. I ordered kung pao tofu and crispy chicken. The kung pao consisted of large pieces of braised tofu and broccoli in a pleasant tasting sauce. The tofu (about six good-sized chunks) was good, but the broccoli was not fresh. After eating four florets, I knew it wasn’t going to get better; I didn’t finish it. The coating on the small chunks of chicken was devoid of seasoning, as was the chicken itself (I believe it’s made from tofu, which requires a ton of seasoning); furthermore,
it was a bit dry and over fried. I also ordered a boba, which I expected to be freshly made based on other reviews. It wasn’t; it came in a premixed sealed cup. I liked it, but it would have been better had it been freshly made. On top of all that, the sticker shock was… well, shocking! I know I have to overpay for GOOD food (everything’s overpriced, especially in California), but nothing I ordered here was worth the $35 I had to pay! I could’ve gotten 3 delicious meals at Panda Express for the same money.

Our new favorite spot!! . This food is delicious – we got the coconut curry soup, the vegan ham fried rice, and the vegan beef chow mein. The vegan meats were prepared so well. And the flavors and sauces were great. On top of it all, the service here was just absolutely exceptional! They even gave us complimentary sesame seed balls without asking. And helped us with the order with we had to make a change. Absolutely wonderful to be here with these amazing people and eat the delicious food. Will definitely be back soon

Kung Pao tofu was delicious ! Very good. The coconut curry soup was very watery and bland, I would not order again. Did not taste the curry or the coconut. Staff offered me a “concentrated broth” to add to the soup , which was still very bland. Please change the recipe, this dish has so much potential
