I really wanted to try this place and I really wanted to like it. I gave an overall rating of 2 stars. I gave Food a 3-star rating but only because I did not get to try it. I gave a 1-star for Service because they were closed during business hours which is why I didn’t get to order. I gave a 1-star for Atmosphere because of the political propaganda.
EDIT: I am updating the text of this review due to their quick reply to my review. I’m impressed with that quick reply! Good job!! I arrived at about 11:40am, and I was actually going to wait around until Noon because if you look at my review photo, you will see the sign says they will return at 12:00.
I would suggest to the folks who run this establishment to remove the WILL RETURN part of the sign if it is not accurate. I ended up not staying around anyway due to politics. I wish I did not know your politics so I could come support you!

While on a road trip out west, we went out of our way to visit SLC because of a few vegan places I knew I had to try. Vegan Daddy Meats was one of them, and oh boy, it was worth the detour. I got the varbys beef and cheddar and it was amazing. It was loaded up! I was so full by the end of it, and still full hours later. I even bought some of the “beef” to bring with me. Will definitely stop back here next time I’m within 100 miles of SLC. The owners were so friendly and welcoming and suggested other vegan places in the area which I love. 10/10 can’t wait for my next trip. Sorry for the photos, I didn’t have the patience to get a good one, I couldn’t wait to dive in. I also had some of my husbands order, the daddy’s bucket, the chicken and fries were also amazing.

Absolutely awesome. I loved my food. I ordered the “Daddy’s Bucket” Which is a good size bucket of fried chikun and French fries. With two delicious sides of dipping sauces. Will definitely be back again. Very welcoming and friendly folks too.

Absolutely delicious food that we crave! My kids love the vegan chicken so much that we always order an extra bucket for another dinner later in the week. I personally love the French dip because it almost reminds be of a cheese steak from back east that I haven’t had in over 30 years! Husband thinks the love is love sandwich is killer and our teenager is obsessed with the vegan turky sub. Our kids think its so cool that they can order off the whole menu! If you can catch their pepperoni in the freezer case, get it for pizza night at home! Our whole family loves Vegan Daddy!

If you’re looking for a vegan restaurant in SLC, stop looking, skip everywhere else, and come here! We tried 4 menu items: the French dip, the happy turkey, the Mac n cheeze, and the pickled chicken sandwich. Everything was absolutely delicious. The textures, the flavors, everything was excellent. The staff is friendly, the prices were very fair, and the portions were big. Next time we’re visiting, we will definitely be back!
