So I’ve been vegan for a little over 15 years, so my pallet is really accustomed to it, and I eat out a lot.

Offensively overpriced. $19 for a vegan dish with $1 worth of ingredients is a fine dining mark-up, but this at a restaurant with laminated, photocopied menus and an atmosphere to match. So the food must be great, right? That’s what I expected. The rice was broken, a mushy glop that looked more like porridge. The carrots were bland and under-seasoned. The tofu was just okay. The sauces were really good. But I could do much better at home and at $19 I could make enough to feed a dozen people. Vegan food doesn’t have a protein on the plate that cost the restaurant $6-10. Thecosts are just way, way lower. So if you’re going for the highest mark-up in the state of Vermont, you better be getting ready for a James Beard nomination. This didn’t get anywhere close.

The best tofu I’ve ever had. Great mocktails. Awesome staff and a great menu with lots of variety. Everything we ordered was fresh and creative. We will be back and if you haven’t gone yet you should go!

This place is a hidden gem! Food and service are both amazing! Check this place out even if you’re not vegan! I have heath conditions that are cause for many dietary restrictions so eating vegan is just safer for me, but my partner who is not vegan at all absolutely loved the bbq plate! I think they need a new sign out front that matches how lovely the inside is, will be back 100%!

We found this hidden gem while passing through the area and are looking forward to stopping in again on our return trip. We had and loved the buffalo cauliflower wings, the burger, and the chocolate mocktail. The staff is super friendly, we loved how our waitress referred to everyone as “friends” when checking in, saying things like “how are we doing friends.” Great that the restaurant clearly supports LGBTQ+ and local artists. I bought a super cool desk lamp made from a tree branch & string.

Great service, cool place inside, and food was pretty good! I’m glad they’re being creative and recreating meat dishes.

Excellent vegan food and super cozy interior. If you’re there when it’s warm try sitting on their outside patio!

Lucky to have gotten to try Vegan A. F. on their opening weekend! It was so difficult to decide, as everything sounded so good! Started with the Kale Salad and between the dressing and the juices from the beets, it was amazing! Then on to the Polenta, which the first bite awoke all my taste buds. I couldn’t believe how good it was! Thank you Eva & Nikki and all the wonderful staff!! I’ll be recommending and coming back for sure!

The food was excellent as well as the mocktails, some of the best I have had out in a long time. The restaurant is very cozy and comfortable, the staff is super friendly but unfortunately the service is rather slow so be prepared to be there longer than expected.
