We loved their quick service and delicious hot food. Their aloo parathas are really good. The host at the front desk is very friendly, helpful and kind.
We will definitely return

It’s great truck stop. Good food and plenty of parking spots. Thank you for bringing good home style food for truckers here.

The best and comforting Dhaba food.. Chicken curry and chicken pakoda were Dil Kush (heart warming) and the breads are all hand made freshly, paranthas and bajra rotis were super yum.. Stopped for dinner when passing thru the area and satisfied with authentic Punjabi food.. Staff was super friendly and welcoming, and the place was bustling with truckers..
Definitely stopping by whenever passing thru Vega

A must-visit on any road trip! This Punjabi Dhaba is perfectly located and serves delicious, authentic Dhaba-style cuisine with a wide variety of specialties. We tried the fish pakora and chicken pakora paired with chai, and everything was packed with flavor and reasonably priced. It’s like getting a taste of Amritsar right here in Texas! The staff is friendly, and the sight of Punjabi truck drivers enjoying their “Ghar Da Khana” adds to the experience. Highly recommended!

The food was amazing. They have veg and non veg options with dietary restrictions. Enough place for dine-in. Plus, almost all types of Indian kitchen stuff are available. It is on I 40. Little tlc required bit overall it’s worth going there.

Wastage of money and time . People who gives good rating might don’t know what indian food taste like . Lots of Indian truckers on road so they stop to have indian food . No choice

There’s a lot of things going on with their parking area. Hopefully it gets sorted soon. Other than that, the food and service was excellent! I’m a guy who finishes his food… but not this time. Big portions and lots of flavors. It would be nice if I got routed through Vega more often, but alas. I look forward to my next visit! Until next time, my friend.

Terrible experience, they sold me expired food i.e. old chapati (rotis) made one day before. When I opened the parcel I found old chapati and went back to them and while arguments over old food I visited their kitchen and found a bunch of one day before made chapatis in a box. Later they accepted that they sold old food. Why are they playing with public health ? Even They charged me higher side prices as compared to other nearby stores.

We opted for vegetarian snacks based off the widely varying reviews, and we will be back!! Our two samosas with tamarind chutney were hot and delicious. As was our plain paratha with dahi, chopped onions, lime and mango pickle. The chai was authentic and available in large quantities.
Our affordable menu items were ready within seven minutes, during which we used the facilities and meandered the fascinating cultural shop inventory.

At the intersection of Interstate 40 & Texas 385 lies a beautiful cultural hybrid to behold, with delicious Punjabi cuisine, authentic masala chai and a range of yogurt lassis. Inside you’ll find typical truck stop items where truckers refuel amidst a range of other cross-cultural food and groceries. I’m grateful the community has this safe place for all who seek an alternative to the toxic American masculinity that it replaces.
