Wowie. I went there with my father and brother to eat on a Monday night and they were so busy! Be comfortable with having a wait time. The food is worth the wait. I have actually eaten here before many years ago, and the food has improved tremendously.
The Chicken Korma was to die for. This is what is pictured. The garlic naan as well. The cost of the food is worth it.
Thank you so much Bashir for your great service!! God bless you.

I ordered takeout from here for the first time and I was very pleased with my tikka masala. The flavor was great and asked for minimal spice and I was able to enjoy it. One of the best I’ve had. The naan bread could have been a little better but since I did take out its hard to enjoy that fresh and I still really enjoyed having it with my meal. It is a bit pricey as well but one order was more than enough for me and my wife.

I recently ordered from Vedas via uber eats. The chicken biryani was flavorful, well-seasoned, and really enjoyable. The rice was aromatic and tasted fresh, making it the highlight of the meal. However, the Chicken 65 was just okay—nothing bad, but it didn’t stand out as much as the biryani. Overall, a good experience, especially if you’re craving biryani.

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was extremely slow, and it felt like customer needs were not a priority at all. My order took far too long to arrive, and throughout the wait there was no proper communication or updates from the staff. When I asked for assistance, the responses were vague and unhelpful. A good restaurant should value both the quality of its food and the experience of its guests, but here the lack of urgency and poor communication left a very negative impression. Definitely not the kind of service one expects or deserves.

Loved every bite!! Stopped in for a quick lunch bite on my way about town and ended up staying for a sit down experience. Bashir was very kind, gave great suggestions and was courteous. Everyone on staff seems so friendly and each add to the ambiance of this cute eatery. I would consider Veda a great lunch/dinner spot for high quality, super fresh, and delicious Indian cuisine. Not only is it a Norwalk staple but also a staple for my family. Come for the food but stay for the experience!!

Hands down the best Indian food around the area! I have tried several Indian restaurants in the Norwalk and Stamford area but nothing comes close to the flavors and quality here. I usually dine in but today I ordered through Uber Eats and it was exceptional. The Paneer Tikka Masala and Paneer Kadai were absolutely delicious with perfect texture aroma and color..10 on 10!! You can really taste the freshness and balance of spices in every bite and it felt so comforting and flavorful like being back in India for a moment. HUGE compliments to the Chef! Please give them a raise!! Ahhh, I was genuinely flattered by how consistently amazing the food is. Thanks for such a wonderful experience every single time over the past few months!

All the dishes are delicious, high quality Indian food. My review is for the heat level. I am a fan of extremely spicy food and if you order any dish here extra spicy they will do it. I find many places do not know what extra spicy means but Veda does. Ask for Bashir, he will hook you up!

What a fantastic experience! I’m a pescatarian and gentleman at the register recommended the Masala Fish—omfg, it was too die for. I made him aware of how much spice I like and I swear, it’s like he knew me. Everything was cooked to perfection—thank you much for the absolute best experience!!! Shukriya!!!!

Amazing food at this place. order food to go as not much table room.
To me, the food is geared towards Northern Indian style of cooking, which really is original at Vedas. Great chef with full on knowledge of what he is cooking & does so with the skill needed to end up with an authentic dish. If you order a “Rogan Josh” you won’t get added potato as a filler, you get a great portion of lamb, with the herbs & spices. Excellent.
I am very impressed with this place & they also do great value lunchtime specials that are superior to other Indian restaurants in the area. The flavor you get here is as good as you would get in India or England.

Vedas Indian Restaurant in Norwalk is the best! The staff is warm and friendly, and the food is consistently delicious, made with fresh, quality ingredients.
I don’t live in Norwalk, but I gladly make the drive. It’s THAT good. My go-to order is the Chicken Tikka Masala with Peshwari Naan.
Highly recommend.
