We had a really great experience here on Friday night. The server was friendly and provided great service.
The food was also incredibly tasty. We ordered the calamari, the roasted chicken and salmon. Overall, everything was so delicious and worth the money. The whole outlook of the restaurant was also gorgeous, just sad that we weren’t able to see the actual vault door. But that just means we need to go back! Highly recommend.

As soon as we walked in we were greeted by host with a smile. Food was flavorful, hot and brought out in short time. Our Waiter Josh was very attentive, knew when to come to table and had a to go box at the ready. He was best waiter we had in years, and that is not an exaggeration. Will go back many times when in Buffalo.

Our anniversary dinner at Vault 237 was an absolutely unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, we were treated like VIPs. The food was simply divine. We started with the burrata, which was fresh and creamy, and the scallops, which were cooked to perfection. For our main course, I had the short ribs, and they were so tender they melted in my mouth. My wife’s dish was equally impressive.
The cocktails were also a highlight. The Old Fashioned was expertly crafted, and the Lemon Sorbet Martini was a delightful and refreshing surprise.
What truly set this experience apart was the exceptional service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make our anniversary special. After our meal, the head chef personally gave us a tour of the historic vaults, which was a fascinating glimpse into the building’s history. To top it all off, they surprised us with a complimentary dessert to celebrate our special occasion.
Vault 237 exceeded all our expectations. It was the perfect combination of incredible food, wonderful ambiance, and five-star service. We will definitely be back and will be recommending it to all our friends! This place truly is a hidden gem of Buffalo.

Highly recommend this place for dinner! The atmosphere was great and the décor was beautiful. Our waiter, Josh, was the best—very friendly, personable, and attentive. He even made it a point to ask right away if we had any time restrictions (like heading to a show or concert).
We ordered several appetizers, including the meatballs, crab cakes, and the Meat & Cheese (small charcuterie board). The portions were small but perfect for sharing and getting a taste of everything before dinner.
We all loved our entrées and truly enjoyed ourselves. By the end of the night, we were already saying how much we’d love to come back!

I’m a little late on my review because I forgot, however, it does not change my mind on how awesome this place is. I took my wife here on December 28 and after reviewing the menu what we got did not disappoint. We started with the buffalo cauliflower, which was amazing. (Forgot picture)
My wife always likes to try the scallops at places to see if they are good. I am not that much of a scallop person but I like to cook them and occasionally will eat one. The scallops were cooked to perfection and the flavor was amazing. I ordered the short ribs with the sweet potato purée and that was crazy good. However, my favorite that I could not stop eating was the French onion mac & cheese I could’ve taken a bucket of that and still wanted more. Definitely going to make a family dinner here with a big party.

Dined here not too long ago and absolutely loved the food! The specialty cocktails were great as well! I heard they have trivia night on Tuesdays so, I plan on dropping in one day for that. Our waitress was extremely pleasant and very helpful. If you’re ever in downtown Buffalo, I highly suggest you check out Vault@237!

Omg!!! So yummy!! One of the best French onions soups I’ve ever tasted. My husband and I ranked it in our top 3. We aren’t big drinkers but man… that sangria was DELIGHTFUL. I had to get 2. Our waiter was great as well. He had a huge party of like 12 people he was taking care of but still made sure we were taken care of. This was so worth it. We definitely would come back NY just for this experience again. Restrooms were tidy and clean too. Great job.

Made a reservation 2 weeks prior, when I got to the restaurant they said that they accidently gave our table away. After we got seated, our server took too long to get to us, barely came back to our table to refill water, and when we asked for the bill she handed it to us while we waited more than 15 minutes and she never came back, I ended up getting up and asking another waiter to cash my bill. The place looks cool but service and food was mediocre

Wow this place was so great, amazing food, friendly service and uniquely crafted cocktails. We ordered the catus juice with the white sangria and the blackberry honey smash- all outstanding. For the entrees everyone was pleased, a few notes about the high salt. The NYS was fantastic along with the sea bass and seared scallops. Not crazy about the shrimp and crab pasta with thick udon noodles. The risotto was cooked perfectly and the short ribs were nothing short of decedent. For dessert, we were served chocolate ganache cake with cherry gastrique and their salted caramel custard with maple was a creative version of a crème brûlée. We came with a party of six and it was so fun we would definitely revisit in the future. Definitely recommend!

A posh prohibition themed restaurant in Buffalo! Vault@237 is definitely worth dining at! The food and drinks were both very good. The service was excellent!! Our server genuinely seemed excited to have us there. He even shook our hands while introducing himself. It was so nice to see someone so enthusiastic about their job!! I’m impressed with this new restaurant. They really have their act together. I was a bit disappointed we didn’t get to see the vault we only saw their vault wall decal upon entering. I was under the impression after seeing photos, that it was part of the main dining room. However, you need to reserve the space for a private party or event to dine in the actual vault itself. I will definitely plan that for my next visit!! I’m pleased to hear they are now offering valet parking too!!
