My family and I really enjoyed dinner! The view of the lake is lovely. The waitress was very friendly and helpful! I’m not big on beans and tomatoes but really enjoyed the pinto beans and pickled tomatoes. All of our meals came out quickly, hot and tasty!

Such a great visit here for my moms birthday! The server already had our table set up by the time we got inside, she said she could see us through the windows exiting our vehicle! The food was served hot and fresh. She came by to check on us frequently and we never had to ask for more drinks, she stayed on top of them. More food fir our all you can eat came out quick and we were never without food until we told her no more. We all left very full and satisfied! The views are beautiful! We will be back out again!

Been wanting to try this place for awhile & so glad we finally did! Hubby got CFS & I got all you can fish & shrimp, the FISH WAS delicious .. You can tell the shrimp came out of a box, but I’ll give them a pass since you can’t find any GOOD fish in Pittsburg NOWHERE! Let’s not forget the hush puppies, beans & coleslaw you get just because Our server was so sweet & the lake was pretty cool!

4-1-23. ALL the seafood plates are $25.95 or combo for 27.95 and $10 set up for sharing a plate. Two of us, one had catfish, that was good, one had chicken fry steak. The chicken fried steak was NOT tender. It was difficult to cut with a knife. It was not fit to eat. The gravy and Texas toast was good. The meals came with set up of spicy pinto beans, coleslaw, two types of hush puppies and marinated tomatoes. The plates included french fries that were drpping in oil, not my taste. The waitress was nice but offered no substitute for the horrible steak that I showed her would not even cut with a grinding knife. My advice is to stay away from the chicken fry steak. I wish they would have had a $10 single piece of fish option. $25.95 for a person that only wants a single fish, is way to expensive.

We had a really excellent meal here and the staff are super friendly. The service was excellent, and the wait staff are superb. We got lucky and had a lake view table which was wonderful. We all ordered different things and everything was delicious. We highly recommend it.

Hush puppies were all old and possibly double fried. The coating on the chicken fried steaks was hard and bike off the steak as soon as you cut it. Meat was too tough and chewy to eat. Coke slaw was great as was the pickled tomatoes. Ketchup tasted weird, maybe spoiled. Great ice tea. Great French fries. Chicken strips were over done. Hard as a Rick yet strangely too tender on the inside. Al ist like mush. Not what it used to be. Waste of money. No reason to ever come back. Oh and the dishes were gross. Look at the picture of the bowl the lemons were in. Yuck.

The overall quality has gone down during my last two visits. Pricing has elevated like everything else, but I expect customer satisfaction to remain at an acceptable level. We had a party of 11 and was seated under a ceiling fan that was on high. We asked if it could be turned down, and the response was, “The string that controls the speed is broken.” I sensed that it would be burdensome on the restaurant’s part to suggest to move us because the table was already prepped with the sides. End result was 11 customers dining uncomfortably. Lastly, the seed oil used in frying the whole catfish was old. It left an unpleasant aftertaste that lasted over 8 hours. The other entrees prepared our group were satisfactory and the beans were excellent

To me the food was okay. I stuck with the hush puppies and the beans. I watch the others eat side dishes and main dishes and ask how was theirs and they said okay but my favorite side was the beans. They hands down had the most flavor!

We accidentally found this place off the beaten path in the rain. Don’t let the price deter you. The table was covered by family-style Coleslaw, homestyle beans, and ever addictive hush puppies. The grilled catfish (+ fries) was flakey and perfectly seasoned. The staff is personable and friendly.
