The food is pretty good. Not everyone is super friendly, but they are polite. Some of our food was cold (onion rings) but the rest was good (gryo and wings). Some things are overpriced and some things are very reasonable. They charged me 95 cents for a styafoam cup of water which I don’t really understand. They also don’t give you napkins for some reason when you get your food and there are none on the tables. We did find a napkin dispenser in the corner of the room though.

I love this place. Truly a hidden gem just off Rt 78 in Hellerton Pa. They have several picnic tables out front and indoor seating in back. The people there are always friendly and helpful.
Here is the secret they have one of the best Gyros you can find. You would not expect it here. They are large stuffed with meat onion lettuce tomatoes and tzaiki sauce. Everything about it is top notch.
I give the atmosphere 3 stars only because it’s right off the street but go inside and you step back in time small town America.

Soo yummy and exactly what I needed after a day of being tattooed at Hellertown Tattoo Co. I told my artist I needed a good burger and we came here. Plus I got a chocolate malt shake and that was perfect as well. Highly recommend.

A perfect little place for a quick bite. You can grab and go at the takeout window or relax at a booth inside. Their gyros are amazing! Made fresh as you wait with top quality ingredients and served hot. The French fries are crisp with a buttery smooth inside and seasoned perfectly. I love the nostalgia they have throughout the dining room. Takes you back to a simpler time. The staff have always been friendly and the food is prepared in a timely manner. Definitely a spot to check out if you’re local or swing by while in town. Great food, great people. Pricing is reasonable too.

This is an older review, from an experience I had in February 2024, that I forgot to post. Ooopsies. Anyway, what a cute spot! I was driving from western Maryland back to NYC and needed to make a pit stop and eat a proper meal. I thought I’d go with the vegetarian gyro — minus fries — because I’m a middle-aged woman watching my nutritional intake but also, I asked the young man at the counter what he orders. “Burger. The beef is local. I mean…it’s the best.” So yup: I got a burger with all the fixings, plus extra pickles and onions because if I’m gonna burger I’m gonna burger. Fries of course LOL.
Loved my meal. Still talk about this burger to this day: one of the best I’ve ever had!
I found the restroom to be spotless on an early Monday evening. I’d image on weekends or evenings, when the establishment is slammed, restroom upkeep is difficult. Here’s an idea: why don’t we just clean up after ourselves? Like we do at home. At least I hope we all do tidy up after producing bodily waste because anything else is crazy. And gross. Clean up the mess you make. Simple.
Final thoughts on my meal: I live in a city so the price was extremely reasonable. And if seeing a sign that invites us to consider systemic social and economic injustice upsets anyone, go to another restaurant. There are plenty of them out there. As for me, I think it’s time for another visit. Looking forward to it! Yum!

My son and I just had the Vassi’s Patty Melt. It was by far the BEST burger we’ve ever had. Bread perfect, meat perfect, topings perfect. Totally blown away at how delicious it was. Perfect size too, not feeling stuffed after eating it. No fries required. Wow, this will be my go to when I want a burger.

The best and easiest stop right off I-78. We had the chicken breast pita and it was delicious! The pita bread was super fresh and the chicken juicy. Highly recommend! And don’t forget the onion rings. Hot and crispy! Yum!

We were making a stop at the Lost Caverns on our way home from the Poconos, and we had some time before our tour. Plus, it was around lunchtime, and we came across this place right off of the highway exit. Easy to get into and park, and the food was great. There were 5 of us, and between the group, we ordered the patty melt, gyro, burger, and chicken fingers. All the options were great, and everyone enjoyed what they got. It’s definitely a great stop for food if you are in the area.

Nothing particularly unique, but great, satisfying, comfort food. We bought the cheesesteak sandwich, NY gyro, and a Dubai sundae, and enjoyed our meals.

Happened to stop here on my way to the Pocono Mountains because GPS guided me a different way due to traffic or construction on the main road and decided to stop here for a bite. I had the best burger ever there with the hottest freshly fried french fries ever! Would definitely recommend the burgers and fries! Tasty and reasonably priced. Has a drive up entrance for food and ice cream and a sit in area in the back. Plenty of parking available and its a clean facility with friendly staff.
